Just what it says.... this could be fun.

For me... in no particular order

1.) a CZ75 SA with a Cajun Gunworks trigger job
2.) a .357 lever gun
3.) an M1 carbine
4.) a 1911 in .38 super (preferably by Les Barr)
5.) Build a flat-top AR in 6.8 SPC with a Sig Romeo 5 on it
6.) a Remington 870 Wingmaster with the LC barrel

So many guns... so little disposable cash.

Alright, I'll play:

1. A Lee-Speed Sporter in 303
2. Pre-War 6.5x54 Mannlicher-Schoenauer carbine (Too many safari stories lol)
3. Colt New Service 45
4. Henry Single Shot .357 (The brass framed one)
5. 1897 Winchester in 16 gauge

Pretty short list, but I really, really covet them. And like you, not nearly enough ready cash.

Mac

A carry 1911.
A full size 9mm
PPQ 45
Maybe a Kareen High Power
New bedside safe. Current one crapped out.

Honestly, no firearms on my short list at the moment. I am sort of kicking around the idea of a quality long range precision rifle; if that's going to happen, I will need to sell off a few items first. But @Walkalong, @taliv, @Varminterror, and @Nature Boy have me thinking about an Impact, or at least a Seekins. No plans at this point, however.

I’m not certain I have ever posted in this section before, but my attention was drawn here today.

This Christmas, I am eyeing an integrally suppressed Mark IV upper or pistol. Haven’t decided which yet, and I do believe I’ll make it a swap-top with a slab-side Competition Model, but that certainly has my eye. Little shorter, and far sexier than my Warlock II in front of my 22/45 Tacticool.

Hummm...

I don’t wait on Christmas to receive gifts. I try to buy stuff every month. A few goals for the rest of the year are;

Buy 1,000 rounds of Federal .223 or 5.56 this month so I can get their rebate.

For October buy better tools so I can finish the AR projects I have sitting in boxes.

For November I may get the Purple People Eater AR parts Ceracoated so I can finish the build.

For December probably nothing as we will be buying gifts for the kids. I think I will probably buy NRA memberships for the adult kids. (I know that THR hates the NRA so just go drink some extra eggnog).

optics trijicon rmr
optics nf 1-8
optics another nf 35x
two IR designators
silencerco maxim
register a couple sbr lowers

Currently on my short list is:

Winchester 1885 high wall reproduction in 45-70 or 38-55
Marlin 1894CB in 45 Colt
Marlin 1895CB in 45-70
Ruger Lipsey's Bisley .44 Mag 3.75"

But for Christmas, I'm thinking about sending my Dan Wesson 15-2 to Ford's customs to get a master blue and polish. As others have said, funds are the limiting factor.

I think I want to modify my Marlin 1894SS and 444.

Bed the stocks and fore ends. Spring kits and trigger improvements.

Maybe make the stocks sleeker with a little wood thinning on the fore ends.

Get some XS sights for the 1894 and a scout scope mount for a mini reflex sight.

I’ve been saving up for a PSL “ sniper rifle “ ( more of long-range support gun ), more ammo and mags for muh AKs, and if I have some cash left over. A model 19 classic.

Ooooo, fun thread..... Had fun reading through this. Ok this is more like the 10-year plan than the short list, but here's my wish list....

First AR
Ruger PCC in 9mm
M1 Carbine
Levergun of some sort... .357mag maybe?
1911 or 2
Walther PPS M2 (or possibly a S&W Shield)
Finally, probably ought to pick up a 20 ga, and a wheel-gun in caliber to match the lever gun.
Plus the usual ammo, more reloading dies and supplies, etc., etc.

I have most things covered gun-wise, I think...

I guess i'd ask for accessories. A couple scopes and 5K of mixed ammo would be in the mix if Santa is into that sort of thing.

Maybe another holster. That's it.

Or another leather gun belt. Ok that's it.
