Hey group,
Not sure if anybody has ever floated this before but I was curious if anybody would have any interest, and if the site would allow for raffling of different items.
I believe it would be a great way to raise money for the site and would be a cool way for people to get in on the chance to win some nice gear. I envision a lil sub forum for just this purpose and I'm not proposing we raffle off lame stuff either.
For example, alot of folks probably cant afford to purchase a brand new ACOG or Aimpoint or this or that, X, Y, Z. But they may be able to afford a $20 or $50 spot for a chance to win.
I could see something like this getting alot of traction and if 1 or 2 spots were dedicated directly to the site above and beyond the total cost of the item I could see that being a good revenue for the site and alot of people would be very happy to win nice gear.
What do you guys think about this? Is it worth consideration. I know I would be a very frequent contributor if there was nice stuff going up. Maybe an open thread at the top of the section for votes on things to be raffled off, suggestions, etc.... Idk. I'm sure someone brighter than me could work out the fine tuning logistically....
