Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

I won two NIB sequentially numbered 2nd gen Colt 1861 Navies in a Morphy's live auction on Thursday. I didn't need them, but even with buyer's premium and shipping, I got both for about the current market price of a single. Just got the invoice and paid for them Sunday. Here's one of the auction pictures--bottom revolver still has original factory grease on the barrel. These were produced in 1979/1980 time frame

When I went to Wal-Fart today to check prices on .22 Mag and .357 Mag, it was to compare them to an advertised price at a nearby Rural King. The RK had ads for Hornady V-Max (30 gr. FlexTip) for $12.99/50 and Blazer Brass (158 gr. JHP) for $19.99/50, but WM had neither. What they did have was CCI MaxiMag (40 gr. JHP) for $10.56/50 but their shelves were already partially empty. The .357 ammo they had was lighter weight and FMJ AND higher priced. I ended up getting 2 boxes of the CCI at WM, 2 of the Hornady and 2 of the Blazer at RK.

Something to anger both Schumer and Beto. :D

I was thinking of having Beto’s signature engraved in red on the side and have an “official Beto AR-15”, but in a couple years I doubt many will remember who he is and then I’d be stuck with an AR with some random dudes signature on my gun.

Just picked up a couple MecGar mags for the CZ PCR, the ones with the blue follower. OEM supplier, but $10 cheaper than the CZ-branded ones. :)

Frog lube and some Glock tools and book was my gun related purchases this week. Oh and another scope for my Marlin 60.

Not much, a couple of recoil springs for my Jericho 941 surplus gun (Came with a captured recoil assembly that didn't even fit!), and another for my Tanfoglio T/A 90, which I'm pretty sure, is exactly the same spring.

Those are sweet looking revolvers.

In making a comment about magazines, I am thankful that I don't live in either CA or NJ. Unfortunately, Illinois isn't far behind either of those.
Twenty five years ago - before the Clinton Ban went into effect - I went the less expensive route and got an AK instead of an AR. Using milsurp ammo and shooting the gun in a homemade rack, accuracy was disappointing to say the least. At 100 yds., only 3 of 5 rounds were even on the paper. The only saving grace is that the magazines have a higher capacity than most AR mags. I "had" 4 large "bananas" and 2 even larger "drums". I also "had" several of the old Ramline plastic magazines for my 10/22 that have twice the capacity of those BX-25 magazines Ruger sells. :scrutiny:
I lost so much in the fire a couple of years ago.

Got a new rifle this morning. CZ527 22Hornet. So I had to get a set of reloading dies,a shell holder, some brass and bullets. Had to order a set of scope rings.

On Thursday UPS delivered 1,000 rounds of Federal 5.56 ammunition I had ordered.

So yesterday I brought a 50 caliber ammo can to store it in.

Then just to top off a perfect day the mailman delivered a box containing four 9mm pistol magazines. The box was badly mangled somewhere along the way by USPS but the magazines were not damaged.

In addition this coming week looks productive for getting more gun stuff.

32 lbs of powder, double mag pouch for pistol, stripped lower.

First time I've been in a Gander store since they went out of business. It's really hard to beat $8/lb powder.
