White House, DOJ Gun Control Proposal Includes Universal Background Checks

One question that has not been answered is who will want to be a “Licensed Transfer Agent?”
We already have a "Licensed Transfer Agent" in Virginia. It's the State Police, which is required by law to have a presence at every gun show in the state and to offer a background check for those who want to take advantage of the service. Other states could copy this. Why reinvent the wheel?

For grins - NRA members polled on background checks and who knows the real numbers:

Anyway, the UBC legislation will disappear into what might have been. Along with the HPA, reciprocity and the SAGA act. This summarizes the players:

Tomorrow and tomorrow, there will be an outrage, there will be sound and fury. The polarization of the country will lead to accomplishing nothing (if we could have decide what accomplished something would actually be).

There are plenty of NRA members AND gun owners who will gladly support UBC and "assault weapon" bans as they think it won't affect them.

''There are plenty of NRA members AND gun owners who will gladly support UBC and "assault weapon" bans as they think it won't affect them.''

And they are just as correct as they are short sighted. It will NOT effect them.

For now.

Then later, WHEN the law or edict fails, not if, plan B of the original proposal comes out of the desk. And if necessary, plans C, D, etc.

Until confiscation happens, then total subjugation i.e. circa 1650BC ( in sig. line, below).

Beto O'Rourke's rantings about gun confiscation are causing the scales to fall from their eyes. If any gun owner still doesn't realize what the endgame is, he's willfully burying his head in the sand. O"Rourke has singlehandedly changed the entire discussion about guns (something that Rep. Eric Swalwell tried and failed to do).
