What is the last gun that you bought?

I was given this yesterday.

Sadly it's chambered in .32 Short Colt, no brass, no ammo, no bullet molds.



It was used to shoot a burglar back in the '40's and has been in that gun case every since.

My most recent (today) and hopefully not my last.



A NIB Ruger Mark IV the( one at the bottom of the picture) comparing it to my wife's favorite, her Mark III.

As we walked out of the gun shop, she said to me:
"No, there will be no timed contests on breaking down our pistols for cleaning."

BTW, she is faster than I at dis-assembly & re-assembly of the Mark III, but I KNOW I'll be faster with the Mark IV!

S&W 6906, in the box with 2 12 round and 1 10 round mags. In very nice shape, for a nice price!

Picked it up today. $280.00 plus a but ton of ammo. Hitting the range Sunday.

I put another Spanish Model 16 Mauser on lay-away, this one in 7mm and with a cut down stock.
Luckily, I have a spare stock.

Snagged a CZ 455 Trainer...now for the wonderful 10 day "cooling off period" here in CA.

Got two today. A Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 in .223, and a Remington 700 in .243. I'm a happy guy.

Thompson Compass in 308. Time to scope it and get it out to the range..

Bought a CZ527 in 22 Hornet this morning.

I picked up another Browning Hi-Power. This one is a machined in Belgium assembled in Portugal. I haven't tried it with JHP yet.

2003 Ruger MKII Standard

I got this CZ-75 Compact used, in 98% condition for $450 and
with 14+1 of HST 147 gr. +P XTP/JHP's, I've made it my primary
daily CCW in my custom made (by me) deep conceal crotch -
carry holster. It's reliable, accurate and has a nice trigger.

Russian Capture K98k second from right in this picture. Force matching on everything but barrel and receiver. What I found kind of interesting is it has an ,I believe, K98A bolt body.

Just for fun the rifle on far right is the first one I ever bought, and the two on left are 1916 Spanish Mausers that were converted to 7.62 NATO.

Last Thursday Sept. 19th took home a Uberti repro of the Colt 1871 Opentop late model in .38 special. It's a really nice looking gun, 7 1/2 " barrel, with some unusually good Color case hardening on the frame, which is a bit unusual for Uberti (though they have been getting better recently).

Yesterday I put a 30/40 krag on lay away.

So.. I really haven't "bought" it yet. I will post pix when I pick it up.

I won these two revolvers in an on-line live auction (Dan Morphy) week before last. They came in last Wednesday. I won both for a price about equal to the current market value for a single. They are NIB consecutively numbered Colt 2nd gen 1861 Navies produced around 1980.
