For folks with the new Colt Cobra (new 2017), what are you using for holsters? I am looking for OWB holster for mine, and not finding a lot of affordable options. Suggestions?

It's not often clear what this means without a dollar amount attached, but often times when folks say this they are looking for sub-$50 holsters and at that level you're usually looking at nylon and "one size fits all" type products.

I consider a holster generally a $100 product. You may find them $20 - $30 below, or $20 - $30 above, but if you enter your search at around $100, you can generally find what you're looking for.

Thank you for the reply. Lobo looks like they make some nice stuff. Yes, you are correct, I am looking for something in the $50 range for this gun. If I move into the $75-100 range, I can easily find what I want for the pistol. It is not a gun I will carry often at all, so looking for something a little less expensive. There used to be a guy named Nick Matthews who made custom holsters, and I have owned and used his products for my carry guns for years, but he disappeared. I wish I could find him again, as he would be my go to for any new gunleather.

There are a few options. The budget makes it a little harder, and most of the ones I found had a retention strap of some kind.

Craft holsters has at least 1 design
Galco combat master is about $~20 more than budget, but I like the design so much I had to include it.
JJ Leather store on etsy. These folks have a few designs that look promising. I'm willing to bet if you get a hold of them, you can get something that will work.

Thanks for the options!! I probably will wind up spending the extra and going Combat Master. I like the design as well.

I think that's your best bet. It offers some retention without the thumb strap and its the highest quality you're likely to find it that price range. In a couple of years, I'm sure there will be more options.

Galco Combat Master is the best off-the-shelf leather holster I could find for my Cobra.

Options are (strangely) still limited for this revolver. I'm having a much harder time finding a leather rig for the (2019) King Cobra that I do wish to have as a carry option.
