Smith & Wesson M&P Shield trigger upgrades

I did the springs and polishing on my sd40ve and there is a difference, I've never shot the trigger upgrade, on my Shield45s I polished the trigger and need to do some more.

A) Any thoughts about this trigger in general?
The trigger is very nice and has a much better feel than the factory hinged trigger. It also reduces pre-travel and and over-travel due to it's dimensions

B) Is it worth twice the price to do the whole trigger kit or is doing just the trigger decent?
It depends on if you think that smoothing the trigger pull and reducing the weight by a couple of pounds is worth the difference in price.

Many people are fine with the factory trigger, but I found that installing the whole kit allowed me to break faster shots and allowed me to shoot more accurately, because of less disturbance in the trigger press

I got my current shield (my second one) used with the apex installed. I think it is a better trigger than the stock one that was in my first shield, but for me and my purposes, the stock one would still be fine. Its a CCW defensive handgun, not a slow fire bullseye competition pistol. YMMV.
