As I've mentioned before, we clean all used firearms coming out for sale. Not sure what happened to this poor Glock, pocket carry too much? Attacked by a clothes dryer lint filter? Your guess is as good as mine.

Owner brought us two Glocks in this condition. I could understand one being a linted up pocket carry but both were just as "fuzzy".

Looks like a gun that gets carried all day, everyday, in a holster to me.

Mine get to looking like that at the end of the week sometimes, maybe not quite as fuzzy, but pretty close, especially when its real dusty out.

Air can usually cleans it up real quick.

Looks like it still has the factory C5A on the slide. Recoil spring looks very low mileage if any. Doubt it was fired much. Probably stored under the dryer.

Maybe they kept it hidden in the dryer vent. :)
I think they were stored in the sock drawer, gun disassembled, for 30 years.......never used . Look at that sock lint buildup. Wow!

That is the type of lint that collects under beds and furniture. I'm betting he kept it under his bed or under a nightstand next to his bed.

My guess is that it was just carried without being cleaned recently. Dust is mostly dead skin, after all. I'm glad you wear those gloves.

My brother in law carrys his glock 36 in his pocket all year long and when we went shooting last, he pulled it from his pocket in pretty much exactly this condition or worse. My LCP also gets a lil linty from time to time, but I'd never let it get to that point when it's too easy to wipe it out every now and then.... With a glock I might not be too worried about lint affecting function but with an LCP I'd bet a buildup of any kind could prove fatal in the wrong scenario.....
