I've got a shadow 2, sp01 tactical, and scorpion. (Scorpion is the wife's)

My sp01 has waited the six weeks and got my spot at cajun gun. Now it's sitting on their shelf waiting for the bench to get the pro package completed.

I truly love the accuracy of these firearms. I'm considering a p10c for concealed carry. The sp01 will be my truck gun once confirmed ready after it's return from cgw.

I sold my 75b omega and it was a regrettable decision but at the time was the correct decision.

My sp01 decocker is a fabulous shooter. Handles recoil incredibly due to all steel with the extra weight of the accessory rail. If your going to carry best have quality belt if your going to hang it on your side.

If carry is not a need, I can't tell you how awesome that shadow 2 is out of the box. Hold one, dry fire it, double action fire it, you'll be surprised. Seriously fun range toy.
The Shadow would be a no brainier, but l can't bring myself to spend that much one pistol.

What if you could only Own one?

Tough choice! The P01 feels like a smaller version of my Hi-Power, is very nicely built and finished, and has a decent trigger on it. The P07 feels totally different but in a very good way. I like that I can convert it from a decocker to a thumb safety for Condition One carry, the sights are great and quick to acquire, and it has the nice Omega trigger in it.

For now I will have to get back to you on this after I have more range time with the P07.

If a guy can ( I'm retired) save up the bucks the Tactical Sport Orange it is a great pistol. I wanted a good 9mm so the money I'd saved for another. 45 got spent on the TSO. I don't regret it. Great trigger, good fit/finish and the most accurate firearm I own.

Of that list, I'd go with the SP-01 Tactical unless I was pretty sure I was going to carry it a decent bit. If it's for carry, I'd get a P-01, or a PCR if I had no use for a rail (probably not the Omega versions for me). And then when I could justify spending a bit more on the gun, I'd add the Cajun Gun Works Pro Package to the SP-01 unless I expected to carry it a good bit. In that case, I might only add the CGW Ultra-Lite Kit.

My CZ handgun perspective is shown below, all with various levels of Cajun Gun Works kits in them, which make awesome guns even more awesome.

I'd get the sp01. all my triggers are stock but sp01 seems a tad less smooth compared to my 85 and a since traded 75b. not compared to the pcr of course which was by design heavier.. a pic with normal shooting offhand(not too fast but not too slow and no warmup) at 10 yrds with same number of rounds for each target. cz 85, sp01(not tactical), p10c, pcr 20190107_065439-1612x907.jpg 20190106_141125-1134x2016.jpg

I have an 85 Combat and a PCR. The 85 is my favorite target 9mm and I like the PCR for carry, chose it over the PO1 because of the slimmer slide.
Neither pistol has had any trigger work done on them, after several 1000 rounds they have smoothed out nicely and I've gotten use to them.
Only complaint I have is with the serrated trigger on the PCR, it's hard on the finger after a couple hundred rounds. Don't know if the PO1 shares that feature.
Both pistols are extremely accurate with the edge going to the combat with it's longer sight radius and extra weight.
The 85 Combat has been discontinued.
I love the 85 Combat too. IMO, if more people knew about the 85 Combat, it would have outsold the 75B back when it was in production. I have made gradual changes to mine, currently has the following parts that elevate the gun to an amazing level, nicer trigger and action than the factory target/competition guns I've handled, but of course it doesn't have the additional heft of the larger target/competition guns.

CGW 54460 Ultra-Lite Kit using the range hammer spring (provides a noticeable improvement in DA and also SA trigger pull, and makes it easier to rack the slide (not that CZ have hard-to-rack slides, but the kit will make it quite a bit lighter)
CZ Pre-B short trigger reset (does what it says, shortens the trigger reset -- this is a CZ factory part)
CGW 6-SAO trigger (with adjustable uptake and over-travel)
CGW Race Hammer Kit (improves trigger pull and essentially eliminates the characteristic CZ hammer "camming-back" in S/A.)
CGW floating trigger pin (just a simple item you need with the SAO trigger)

With the above setup the trigger is very nice and light, crisp, and operates fore and aft within the range of the thickness of the trigger at the mid-point.

I, too, find the PCR trigger to be a little rough on the finger if shooting quite a bit in a single outing. I keep meaning to install the factory 85 Combat trigger in it, but just haven't done so. The P-01 has the smooth trigger like the other 75-based guns.

Both you and I6turbo have some outstanding CZ collections going on there! Thanks for sharing!

I6turbo is that adjustable sight on your 85 factory or did you add it? I’ve been looking at CZ’s for a future target/range pistol and want one with adjustable sights, only ones I see that currently have them are the Shadow series.

Yes, those are the factory sights. I'm pretty sure the rear is made by LPA.

I’ve got several CZs. My vote was the tactical, which I own. I’ve also got a Phantom. Same trigger. The older I get, the more I prefer the Phantom.

I own a 75B omega and standard P01. I voted P01 omega for the simple fact you can carry it easier due to its smaller size and weight. It can also take larger magazines and lights/lasers for home defense if need be, you know from the waistband to the nightstand. The bigger heavier cz’s are more of a pleasure to shoot though and that’s no secret.
