CZ 75 Recoil Spring

I have a CZ 75B SA, which I love. When I clean it though, I can't seem to get the recoil spring loose from the guide rod. Anybody have this problem?

Pull harder. Takes some force to get it off the guide rod on my Shadow 2.

It’s not captured?

Twist the spring while you are pulling.

Only had a problem with mine the first time. After that it's been easy.

As others have said, pull + twist should let you remove it....or you could buy a 2nd CZ :rofl:

One end is narrower than the other. Remember to mount the narrower one again in the guide rod. Aftermarket springs like Wolff don't have this problem, if I remember well.
