I pulled my SD card today. In one week I had 843 pictures. 842 of them were coons. I have as many as 9 coons at a feeder all night every night. The only deer was just passing through. Acorns are on the ground so I'll turn off the feeder and start hunting the oaks. Got 4 cameras to put out tomorrow.

My cameras are almost at the two week mark. I have two and two separate properties and its kind of a pain checking them when not hunting, so it will be awhile. I am sure I will have a lot of Case IH pictures for you guys. lol

Every year we'll catch one or two photos of does or bucks on their hind legs sparring each other....not sure why but we got 10 photographs this past week.

Haven't got anything worth posting from 5 different trail cams on 2 different properties. But my buddies got some nice stuff from his cams including the bears that live further down the hill from him. That buck pic is less than 50 yards from one of our blinds. IMG_0923.JPG thumbnail.jpg ETA... Both pix from same cam. He's got at least 3 cams out but both these pix are from the same cam near the aforementioned blind.

That is about as unique a buck as you will find anywhere. I like weird heads.
Not bad for Oklahoma public land. Technically the buck was on private land (40 acre tract) at the time of the picture. But its only about 50 yards to about 4000 acres of public land. I seriously doubt I’ll harvest him. But I’m happy just knowing he’s around.

He didn't get that big by being stupid. Bucks like that are a different breed than the spikes and dorky forkies.

Yeah we just got more pictures. He’s nocturnal now. Along with his cohorts. Hopefully he’ll either get stupid when I’m out there, or stay smart during the rut. The fact he’s made it through last season on public land is a testament to his instincts. F62135BE-9D2A-4A51-AB97-B7F48B1E709E.jpeg 7744C779-FC85-4AE0-A6B4-9789B7FDED7A.jpeg

The dang hogs are thicker than ever this year barely leaving enough behind for coons and squirrels. Hitting many of our feeders at pretty much the same time.

This one had panels to keep cows from knocking the feeder over and will be the next “trap”

Once I get them to stay away from this one. Should have had this group but the cell phone I use to trigger the trap died on me, sometime during the day. A replacement should be here before the weekend.
