I have a CZ 75B-SA. I love that gun. The only problem I am having is no primer strikes. That's right, not light primer strikes, no primer strikes. The gun does not fire, I eject the round and look at the primer and it has not been fired. So, I just put it the next magazine and it fires fine. The gun has not had any custom work done on it and is completely stock from the factory. Any idea what causes this or what steps I should take to remedy the problem.

in a full mag how many rounds does this happen to ?

maybe gunk in the firing pin channel...does the hammer drop normally when you pull the trigger on those? if not maybe gunk in the sear cage

If hammer doesn't drop normally I would use a spray cleaner/dry lube like Hornady's One-Shot to clean it out

If it does drop normally then I would take out the firing pin and clean it out thoroughly.

another possibility is a problem with the firing pin block but I would think that would give you more consistent problems

How many rounds are through it? Sounds like the firing pin channel has some junk in it.

This thing have a firing pin block? The stupid series 80 firing pin block in my Colt 1911 would keep the firing pin from going forward, There were some burrs on the firing pin and that caused the block to hang, instead of dropping down. I had to file those burrs.

Starts around the 45 second mark. You can also order an extended firing pin like the one in the video, and you may need a new roll pin, it is a part that wears out.
