favorite bookmarks/websites

I knew I was pushing my luck with my old computer. I had run that thing untouched for years, and it was used when I bought it. Finally the motherboard gave up as it looks like about half the capacitors are popped out or have gone full nuclear reaction, not good. Due to differences in operating systems and the fact that I didn't have anything really worth saving I'm not going through any trouble even attempting to retrieve the data.
Basically I am out my bookmarks which is really the only loss and I'm hoping that some of you can help me re-establish some good websites into my list. Any type of gun-related content is welcome whether it be a shopping site, a personal page with some photos or whatever really as long as it's gun related.

My phone will retrieve my contacts when I've had one replaced, that was nice. I'm using firefox and I do not have an 'account' with them, so no signing in/out and apparently no saved data either. Once I get a new collection of bookmarks they will definitely be backed up onto a flash drive.

So far some of these websites have been dangerous... gun.deals and DVOR are both going to horrible for my bank account, thanks ;). I can't believe I had not been to either of those before, shame on me.

I save my bookmarks to the hard drive every once in a while, but also to flash drives, external drives, and occasionally to an external drive that sits in the gun safe, but I do that with anything I don't want to lose.

-There's also the option of installing your old hard drive in your replacement computer. It's not difficult - there are lots of You-Tube videos on how to do it - or most of the computer service shops can do this in a few minutes.
Then you can have an additional back-up location within your computer.
This will include all of the old bookmarks and anything else that you had installed or saved on your old computer.
 
Install the old hard drive in the new PC or easier buy a USB drive dock (about $20).
Get your book marks off the old hard drive and anything else you want. (programs are generally not easy to recover, but data, pics, bookmarks etc are easy)
You can then put a spare hard drive in it and use the drive dock to write backups to it. (decent size internal hard disk is about $100 less if you don't need as much space, the internals just drop in the drive dock, search Amazon 3.5" SATA hard disk, you could use the old one for this as well but any drive over 5 years old is living on borrowed time IMO)
Then put the drive in your gun safe.
Also a good idea to take pictures of all your stuff in case anything happens (fire, flood, theft) and save them to that drive.
