Flashlight proliferation!

I worked midnights for over 25 years, so flashlights were a necessity. Now, I still want one near by. I would guess I have 30 or 40 here and there.

I haven't counted, but I'm sure I'm in the 12+ range. Heck, I was at Costco a couple weeks ago. They had 3 Duracell 3 AAA flashlights on sale with batteries for $19.99 with $5 off instantly. I got them to have one in the truck (that makes 3 there), one in the tornado shelter AKA Laundry Room and one in my 9 year olds room when scary dreams happen.

I've got well over half a dozen maglites and various off brand "tactical" lights kicking around. I like the fact that in my house you can open a random drawer and find some sort of illumination.

I bet we have about 15 around the house for 'just in case.' Then we have our personal lights and some in the vehicles and such. I usually have something recharging, either a light or 18650 battery for a light...

I keep about ten regular flashlights of various sizes around the house, cars and job, plus a head lamp, a mini-light that recharges from the cigarette lighter, a number of decorative solar-charged decorative lights - and a bunch of these:

I use these more often than I use regular flashlights - I just hang them from my collar and my hands stay free.

Wow bikedoc. How does run keep up with battery replacement in that assortment.

I have a couple of older Mag lights and various el cheapos everywhere. I buy those .......$1.00 lights from Wally World and use them. It's cheaper to throw them away than to replace the batteries. My buddy has a Streamlight that I was admiring Wednesday. Thinking of buying some maybe for Christmas gifts. Don't know which one to purchase yet.

Only (5) for me. Two Maglights, one Surefire, and two Fenix. I'll never buy another Maglight.

Probably have a dozen or more flashlights in various sizes and in various places around the house. Have a Streamlight ProTac 2AA right here next to my laptop!
