Lead, what is it worth?

Cheapest any type of lead is going for around $2/lb near me.

If I come across any lead around $1/lb, I buy all I can.

It looks like RMR bullets is selling their lead slugs for 1.62 a lb. Unless I'm reading the web site wrong. That's for clean bullet lead.
That dirty lead and dirt, I wouldn't pay more than a 1.00 lb for it.

Here locally the guys are paying $1 a bound for lead with unknown orgin..lead that can be melted and cast will bring $2 a pound. If you have it tested you will know what it is and can double the asking price, but that amount I'd try to sell it for $1 a pound, NO DEPOSIT/NO RETURN.

10 pounds. More bother than worth, there isn’t any profit there. IMO

Reclaimed lead shot typically runs about $1-$1.25/lb. Unknown lead would bring less where I live.

The grouchy old men at CastBoolits make market for lead at ~$2/lb shipped, $1.50 in quantity no shipping. Ask $10 on Armslist or a yardsale, and it'll go.

Put it on eBay. You will quickly find out what it is worth. I usually pay about 1.25 a pound for ingots.

Put a price of $12 on it and let someone talk you down to $8-$10 and call it good...

Or maybe use it to sweeten another deal.
