My bud bought one of the GM barrels in 32 to go on his Cabelas Hawken. It worked fine and dropped right in but it was a heavy sucker with the 15/15 lands and 32 caliber hole in the barrel. The Renegade will be even heavier since the Renegade has a 1" barrel across the flats. Shooting that 32 caliber gun at 100 yards was a waste of powder and ball. If there was the very slightest breeze you could not hit the target. Thats why I stated earlier I liked the 36 over the 32.

That looks like my T/C Renegade. I have a GM drop-in barrel in 32 for it but the barrel weighs a ton compared to a Crockett and T/C Cherokee in 32. It's an excellent barrel but I only use it seated at a bench. I wouldn't use it in the field.

I also have GM drop-in barrels in 50 and 54 calibers with the round ball twist. I had the original T/C 50 caliber barrel bored out to a 62 caliber smooth bore. It is surprisingly accurate out to 75 yards with a patched ball and can double as a 20 ga. shotgun.

This is the gun you should be bidding on. Four hours left. I had one and it was a shooter I deeply regret ever selling. And I bought mine for $125 and sold it for $250 and thought I really did something. Nope, I screwed up badly.

I tend to agree. I have it’s brother in 45 caliber and mine is pretty sweet. PRB over 75 gr in 45 cal so I’m guessing 32 cal would be in the 40 gr range. Cheap and easy on powder, cheap and easy on lead if you find a place to buy by weight or find the proper size cast “buckshot”

I don't want to mess with .350 balls. I decided .310 ball .32 would be better for what I want and am bidding on a Seneca .32

You will like the 32 caliber Seneca. From what I have read they have a 1/30 twist so you can use light charges between 10 and 20grs of powder and still have enough spin for the ball to be well stabilized.
