This came to me in Bunch of stuff from my deceased Uncle.
No name and only a faint patent number.
Looking that up it was a number assigned to Schrade in 99.
Anyone got anything else?
Sharpened a few times, stamped sheet metal bolsters.? I ask as It looks like other knives I’ve seen by Imperial Knife in Providence RI. They were affiliated (?) with Schrade also. Imperial made good stuff but they also cranked out a lot of trade stuff.
I like to start my searches with image pages first, in most cases. once the terminology is whittled down and the images coincide, visual scanning is quicker and then open the photo's links when applicable.
It'll give you a good headstart.

As a reference librarian, this is one of the techniques that I use regularly - often with the patron looking over my shoulder.
The first hurdle is finding appropriate search terms, as the usual library patron doesn't really know what they are really looking for... .
