designator, and if it has an illuminator that's ok too just looking for something durable that will stay zero'd. also, use of AA batteries is preferred but 123 is ok too.

pretty decent parts for that price, plus the BCM original 9.5" KMR rail and stripped lower that i already have.
i'm really a fan of their nickel teflon plated triggers
i don't have high hopes for effectiveness on the micro kak flash can, but it looks cool
this will be pretty similar to this build https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/backpack-pistol-concept-project.808937/ minus the dolos/folder and in 223 instead of 300bo
I absolutely love that build. One of these days...

westky, since we live in same town, meet me at the range and bring some 300blackout ammo and you're welcome to shoot it

That’s a great joke. Time to shoot is basically nonexistent. 2 kids under 10 and there are too many chores to get finished, things are about to get a bit more hectic too as we convert the spare bedroom to a nursery over the winter and get prepared for another little one. I appreciate the offer and would love to take you up on it, but it’s just not possible. Right now my shooting hobby consists of my free time (11pm til midnight if I can muster the energy to get out of the recliner) and try to do stuff to make the trips back to my parents as good as possible, because that is the only time I get to shoot, and a lot of that is typically spent with my girls behind the trigger. One of these days though... hopefully I will be moved closer to family by then.

I am very disapointed in the Cabelas and Midwayusa black friday sales. I will be taking an hour drive south to buy a couple Blackhawk bipods for $15 piece, a new XL range bag, Rem thunderbolt bricks for $10 and a few more items.

That’s funny, I was almost going to buy a rifle from Cabela’s last night, had it in the cart all boxes checked but I decided I would sleep on it.

Woke up this morning and they made the decision for me. It was $100 more than last night. I have been in a glass half full mood lately so they actually saved me money.

Yeah PSA is basically running the same deals as always, they say black Friday deals but realistically they are the same as daily deals. Not complaining, great deals, just nothing to prompt me to hurry up and get in the cart, for uppers at least. The ammo deals are good tho.

Good luck with all of that. I think it's a great thing what you're doing. I didn't realize there were so many of us from Kentucky on the high road even though I'm near that cesspool called Louisville and you guys are somewhat West of me, not sure how far.
Taliv, depending on how far west you are, I would go shoot with you sometime. It's always good to be able to shoot with an accomplished Marksman so I try to learn something from everybody I shoot with. I would say somewhere around Owensboro be about as far as I would like to drive to go shoot. That's about 2 hours drive.

Sadly I’m not in the bluegrass anymore. Just south in the land of the tacky orange. I have family in Christian County, Caldwell County, and Scott County.

That is a great deal! Never thought I'd see an AR-10 for under $600! I have one of their PSA Gen 2 PA10 lowers that I'm torn on what upper to install on it.

I'm working a 12hr shift tonight and tomorrow night, both company holidays, so I'll get around an extra grand in the next check. I may have to just order one...

I need black Friday to be over, or for the power to go out, or for my internet service to go down, or I'll need to find a second job and pull extra hours in 2020 also. LOL!!!

Hi...
Not buying anything on Black Friday.
Probably take a trip to King's Shooter's Supply one day next week with my son to stock up on some reloading supplies. Coated cast bullets, some gun powder and maybe some large pistol primers.

Should we expect "CyberMonday " deals as lackluster as Black Friday's?

Let's hope not. I think they decide how many deals they run by how much people buy on black friday .... If they don't sell enough they do more cyber Monday sales

Federal Black Packs in 9mm and 45acp are a good buy but can be beat with bulk purchases online.

But in 40 S&W, it's the best deal I've seen anywhere ($44.99 for 200 rounds). 22.5 cents per round vs 23 cents for lower quality ammo. With the rebate it's silly cheap. I just picked up three boxes from Academy and wish I'd got more.
