LGS Closed Shop & Moved To Indiana

Steve51, Politicians on the Left have consistently demonstrated that they are not concerned in the least about running "honest and hard working people out of business". Loss of jobs, taxes, etc. are immaterial to them if they can hamper, restrain, restrict, bankrupt or otherwise destroy any type of gun related activity or product. If any cared to comment about your LGS moving out of state, the tone would be not-so-poorly disguised glee. The LGS leaving would be touted as a victory against "Gun violence", "Gun traffickers", "Guns on the street", the "Gun Culture", etc. The US body politic is moving Left, Illinois and other like minded states are just leading the vanguard...

* The OP's dilemma was missed by several readers, or disregarded.

Should he buy from the business which moved to Indiana, or from a struggling, local IL gun business?
My suggestion--despite having sympathy for the business which moved-- would be to buy from a Local, IL business.

Archie: I'm surprised that the moderators tolerated your speech, about the Peoples' Democratic Socialist ...of California" etc. Unlike at "The AKfiles", the Mods here often seem very concerned about exposing "snowflakes" to such terminology.

There is a big underlying fight in FOIDISTAN right now and it won't be pretty. Illinois is a red state. Illinois believe it or not makes texas look kinda gay! Stay tuned!!!

IMHO until the gun sellers ban together and refuse to sell guns to the law enforcement community there is going to be no community support for the sellers group or anyone else's gun rights. When the crazy laws being handed down start to affect people they start to listen to the issue. The idea of not selling to law enforcement sounds odd but if the public can only buy a 10 round mag then that is the only thing the law enforcement should be carrying as well, they are not above the law and no politician or law enforcement should be exempt from the law of the land.
