2020 approaching, what would like to see made available or get this coming year?

I am with you on the Henry with the side loading gate. I don't mind 22's with the tube load but the other calibers should be from the side. I think the look centerfires look goofy

My LGS just got like 10 of each Remington 600's and 660's in assorted calibers with nice wood stocks, not sure of the wood but very nice rifles with iron sights for $500. Sort of budget friendly. I'm pretty sure that's a good deal for those too... I was thinking about getting one in 6.5

Ruth Ginsburg leaving the Supreme Court is at the top of my wish. Sadly the only way she will leave the Court is when she dies. I am sure she will hang on until the November elections.

With 2020 being a election year reloading supplies, ammunition and magazines are my main focus.

In 2019 I brought three guns and gifted two of them. Instead of my gun wish list getting shorter it expanded by seven guns. It tis a heavy burden to carry.
 
Remington 600's require someone who appreciates vent ribs on a rifle, dog leg bolts, and outstanding accuracy. Turns out that's not a lot of people. Sounds like a collection got liquidated.

What I want is a completely basic, ordinary, affordable break-action .22 lr pistol.

It's not a thing. Hasn't been since the 1960's, as far as I can tell. With recent rimfire shortages in mind, I guess it's not a surprise.

Yeah, there's some cut-down children's bolt-action single-shot bench-pistols out there. Or maybe you can snipe a TC something or other for $400-500 or humble-brag about the one you pieced together over the decades for $100.. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about something I could buy at the local gun shop tomorrow.

Then either dvelop patience or don't reload. Imo it's not for ADD types if you mean a total lack of patience. But it doesn't take saintly patience either if you just stick to straight wall pistol cases and target loads. As for an investment, Lee anniversary kit and work from there. The Lee book ain't bad for start either. This is the high road there is untold amount of reloading know how among the members. If you started a thread in the handloading section you'll get dog piled with good responses and suggestions for a reloading endeavor, the vast majority of which will be better than I can offer. I am quite thankful someone took the time to show me the basics and encourage me to reload and cast and glad I took the time to get it down. It's a great skill to have. Best!

Oh, sorry, yeah I can see how what I said could be interpreted. I didnt mean no patience for reloading. Just that once I start getting into it I'm likely to spend a bundle trying to get it all set up at once instead of piecing it together a lil at a time. I could be off on that though, I'm told it doesnt really take alot to get started.... It honestly seems a lil daunting with really no first hand knowledge of reloading but you're right, THR is a great wealth of info on these subjects and I feel lucky to have the access I do.

Haha, I got it now. You're impatient and you want the best reloading getup available now. Well, if that's the case then yeah, it will cost you a bundle. Might I suggest bullet casting afterwards? You should see how much you can spend on a half dozen hard to find or out of production bullet molds. There is a a good feeling having 100k cast projectiles awaiting your loading bench. Almost feels like.....freedom.
 
Trump's impeachment and removal from office would of course also be a boon to our cause. He's already banned bump stocks and is a fan of Red Flag laws (We take the guns first, due process later was his opinion).
 
Yeah let's not get political please even though we all have opinions either way, it becomes a fast track to getting the thread closed. We all know the next election has potential huge looming consequences, our friends in Virginia just found that out as said previous in the thread.

For the sake of unicorns and rainbows think happy about what you would like to get this coming year or what you would like to see be made available in the gun industry.:cool:
 
I would like to see Ruger bring back the 44 carbine but with a normal magazine that holds 10 shots and not that rotary thing. Also, a 10/22 with a normal magazine. If I'm already on the subject, a 357 too.
