Dang that MKI is a shooter, looks like!
Two handed at 10 yards, easy to get a score of 100 with multiple X, same with the K22 it is just that the grip contour on the K22 is not as friendly to me one handed as the MK1. People say the MII is the best but to me the MK1 does just as well just doesn't hold open the last shot.

I tried a couple times with each wanting to move on with the bag of guns I brought lol.

Got a couple more entries done today but results were blah. I tried one time with the Springfield XDM 5.5 in .45 ACP, at 10 yards I shoot it like a laser beam but one handed at least today, not so well. Just one of those days I was having a hard time focusing.

LK
class 2 10 yds
Springfield XDM 5.5 in .45 ACP
Federal 230gr FMJ

Was real happy with the group on this one, only tried once but shot to the right with it so score went low. I have to dial this one in more get it centered but.....

LK

Beretta 92FS "victory model" with adjustable sight
Winchester 115 gr

Dang! Nice group!
Remember how on the LEO handgun challenge when I said the next time you see my standard 92FS it will have adjustable sight added and you asked if the front sight would need to be calibrated also?
I bought the sight and as you see on the package it says no need for front sight to be changed, had every intent of having it put on but two local gunsmiths said no they don't want to touch it because Beretta sights are notoriously tight and difficult with the round top of the slide and they don't want to responsible for damage to my slide trying to put it on.

So low and behold then I see the factory "victory model" made by Beretta with adjustable rear sight already installed and like a schmuck I spent more money and bought ANOTHER gun. I just got it this week from cheaper than dirt they sent it in two days and lowest priced on the net. Don't really like Cheaper than dirt due t their past gerrymandering during the last panic, but local dealers couldn't get one and Bud's online was out of them. This was actually my first time shooting it today, it is gonna be my main target shooting center fire handgun that I can shoot with 6 o clock hold like I did today, a big difference from my target with my standard 92FS where I have to bury the dot center of the target.

Other factory 9mm target guns like SIG and H&K all cost over $1000 some well over that, this Beretta was the most logical choice to me for a SA/DA quality 9mm.

Once I really get it sighted in I'll try it at 15 and 25 yards, I don't expect to do as well at those distances as I do at 10 yards but the 6 o clock hold should help.

Here's one with my new Canik TP9SF Elite. This was done at the end of my first range session with the new pistol. Edit: Ammo - Blazer Brass, 115 GR FMJ

Nice and I like how you put the info against the target, I might do that in the future as my chicken scratching handwriting really sucks lol.

Thanks. If you run a Windows computer IrfanView is a great program for viewing/editing images. Make sure you get the plugins if you try it. I also use paint.net. I regularly take pics for work and adding the info to the image itself makes it harder to lose later.

That Beretta looks sweet.

Alright looked through this a couple times, since the first time while trying to concentrate my cat jumped on my lap wanting some love distracting me lol. Lots of great scores some were close. Personally I'm real happy with my Beretta 92 target just because of the group next when it's dialed in more watch out LK will be back in da house lol.

congrats to...

class 1 rimfire 10 yds , Pete D using a High Standard Victory score 97
class 2 centerfire 10 yards , 1KPerDay using a M&P core score 100-5X
class 3 rimfire 15 yards, Pete D using a High Standard Victory score 95
class 4 centerfire 15 yards , GarrettJ using a TC Contender score 97-5X

And friends, now begins the withdrawal symptoms of the fact the challenges are over for a while (at least by me) we covered a lot of different handgun and rifle challenges over the year, can't think of anymore kinds to do, glad you had fun and hope that like me, you learned some about yourself and your guns.

With that, bless you hope you have a great holiday coming and that the new year brings you health and happiness and more of the smell of gunpowder in the air.:D
