New glock coming

Ok fellas... For the record here is my prediction....

It a .45 caliber PCC that has a takedown feature. It will fit in a backpack. And it be mag compatible with other .45 Glock pistol. And yes. It's optic ready and suppressor ready.

Been thinking about this a while, and if anything leaked, I am not aware.

I think, if this is something really “new” to. Glock, it really has to be something like a long gun. Just another generation of something they already make would be nice, but nothing “new”.

I cast my lot in with the folks thinking pistol caliber carbine. I would like to see something that breaks down like the Ruger 10-22, and has the potential for caliber changes.

I’d also be open to a Glock long gun in some of the big bore rifle calibers like 458 SOCOM or 450 BW and the like...

I don’t really want anything like the Ruger PCC, and I don’t want an AR either...but I can’t really tell you what it looks like, but it’s light, easily packed, reliable, and easy to tear down and clean.

Guess we’ll see soon.

I think there’s something to the “10”. Maybe a 10 shot 10mm. Sort of like a G48. Frame length somewhere between full and compact, 10 shot mag somewhere between double and single stack?

It'll be a revolving carbine chambered in the super popular .45 GAP. Nah, Glock isn't ever going to come out with a carbine.

I actually think a G42X would be sweet, I have a G42 and it's a very good shooter.

All conjecture...we will find out tomorrow...

What would really be annoying is if the big announcement is a management change or an announcement that they are opening a new service center someplace or a new line of Glock apparel...all in black with the word “perfection” printed all over it...

Latest gossip is the Glock 44 in 22 LR. Ads have been seen, or so claimed.

I have plenty of good 22s but a 15 round or more glock would be ok as a training tool so I'd likely buy one at least. My local pd and a few others I know use the AA kit. If they sell enough of those to stay in buisness one would think that glock would have made one by now.

That said. I cant imagine that being the "big" thing coming. Not with the press pictures and such of hikers. Maybe a new entrenchment tool or boots though. Either way, as the comments here show already, there will be gnashing of teeth regardless of what it is.
I'd love to see Glock release a hammer less safe action 1911. All black with polymer frame. Just to hear the uproar. Of course the last "new" thing Glock released that I cared about was the gen 3 Glock 29.

It'll probably be more "folding Glocks" Quite possibly the dumbest idea that came out of Glock since the GAP.

Personally, I would wait before buying. I got burned by rushing into a first 42. 22s can be picky.

If it is in fact a .22lr, I will wait for it to be refined if need be. I have a Walther PPQ in .22 (NOT P22) that holds 12 and is a sweet shooter, Glock will have their work cut out for them to displace it. It eats everything suppressed and unsuppressed.

I've never seen a Glock brand folding Glock. Every one I saw was an aftermarket modification. But yes I agree it was a terrible thing.

Well..... I wouldnt want to be waiting on many big refinements.

That's nearly 40 years of "refinement".
Back to 1 trigger group pin. Back to no grooves. Back to straight serrations .....
It does have a rail and more friendly to a leftie I guess. Lol

ETA...locking block pin. Not trigger group by name
