Gun related companies you like, and why.

The three LGS's, Green Top, Dances Sporting Goods and Gunworx.

Online, Impact Guns, Sportsman's Guide, CDNN, Brownell's, Numrich and Mcarbo.

I have, do, would and will buy stuff from these folks without giving it a second thought.

Why? Because I've had great service from all and they generally have good deals.

For Walk in Purchases I really like Sportsmans Warehouse. Huge Reloading Inventory and great customer service at least in Columbia SC
For Ordering Brownells and Natchez. They still produce CATALOGS you can read!!! Probably spent 100K through the years sitting in the bathroom!!!
Reloading Equipment Dillon hands down due to the No BS Warranty and best Customer Service in the Business

Primary Arms is my go to when I need stuff. They alway have great sales on items I want. They also ship very fast. Most often I get a notice that my order has been shipped, on the same day that I place the order.

Target Sport USA is my favorite place to get ammo. Great prices. Free shipping on bulk orders.

SG Ammo is my second ammo dealer. Good prices and great customer service. Great place for hard to find ammo.

Not really a gun related company but Krogers, a locally founded grocery chain, has been in the news for not jumping on the anti-gun bandwagon.
Hate to be a spoiler, but yes, yes, they have jumped squarely into that anti-gun bandwagon ... NONE of the chains Kroger's owns sell any magazines (periodicals) displaying AR-15s anymore, and franchises owned by Kroger (such as our large chain up here, Fred Meyer) immediately ceased selling guns and ammunition.

It is quite difficult for me to get items like scopes in the UK. I've made many purchases from Optics Planet and they have looked after me, even though I am on the wrong side of the pond...
Another company that was great to deal with was Comp-Tac, I bought a Kydex holster from them.
Also there is a Swedish company called GP Rifle who were good to deal with. I bought several 12-gauge Akdal magazines online from them.

There are several LEO and forensic organisations (and similar) in the US who have been very helpful in providing samples or materials when I asked.

For suppressors, A-TEC in Norway have been great to deal with, and so has the local company UK Custom Shop (for Wildcat Suppressors). Both those companies have really good customer service.

Lastly I must mention South Yorkshire Shooting Supplies, who make custom 10/22 family rifles. I bought my last rifle from them and their customer service has been great!

I'll start with gun-related companies because that's what the OP asked about.

Gun-related companies:
Choate Machine & Tool -- I might be biased here, because I've known the Choates for a long time, and they're some of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. That said, I've had a bunch of Choate products over the years and have always been very happy with them.

Beltman -- I only own one Beltman belt and have only used their customer service once, but so far Beltman has batted 1000 in my book. Great belt, which I initially ordered in the wrong size. It was still kind of wearable, so I wore it for a couple of weeks. Beltman still exchanged it without any hassle whatsoever.

DeSantis Gunhide -- I have a Speed Scabbard for every CC pistol that I carry on my belt. Obviously, it's my favorite. They also make a fantastic bargain in belts, the Econobelt. It's not pretty, but it's basic black, unobtrusive, and remarkably durable considering that it comes in under $40.

Guns:
Ruger. It's no big secret that I'm fond of Ruger. One of my first guns was a 10/22, and she still sits in my safe today. I'm a long-time fan of the Mark series, too. For me, Ruger often hits the sweet spot in that balance of quality and affordability.

Ammo:
For buying online, Target Sports USA and SGAmmo are my go-to companies. I have no complaints with either. For me, the difference is that SGAmmo will let me have the shipment held at the UPS center for signature. Target Sports will not. I'm not real interested in having a porch pirate make off with a case of my ammo, so I tend to go with SGAmmo, unless I can have my ammo shipped somewhere more secure. If I can do that, it just depends on who has the best price.

Another vote for R King !
''What TSC and F&F want to be, when they grow up'' hehe

A store 99% copy of RKing is...just as 2A friendly... Big R:thumbup:

Hats off to Brownells a few years ago, changing their marketing to include larger discounts and various ways of free shipping. There is almost always some type of free ship offer / % off including sometimes even no minimum purchase:D.
Plus, LEO discount:thumbup:

BROWNELLS is at the top of my list as I often ordered parts and accessories for different guns all in one order saving on shipping.

I have brought from SG Ammo a lot over the years.

Recently joined Target Sports. So far I like them. It is really convenient to order smaller than case lots of ammo while avoiding shipping fee.

Palmetto State Armory, Delta Team Tactical and JSE Surplus all are getting my money.

The Kroger Signature store I frequent, just down the road from the house has about four feet of gun related periodicals, including Shotgun News. So, perhaps they have not got the word to kibosh the periodicals (or the periodical service company used* knows the local market well enough).

*Many markets don't actually stock periodicals, they have a service for that. This saves them time and money on inventory ad nstock taking, and they get the service company to haggle on the product price rather than having to do it themselves.

Glock
Lonewolf(price&fast)
Trijicon(good cust ser)
Vortex
Buff. Bore
Underwood

Now.............Midway (phooey) they lost a case of ammo 2 years ago, and I just ordered 2 (20rnd) boxes of 45's and it cost me $11.xx
for shipping and $8 for tax, and it took over a week to receive it.

I like Rural King. They are big supporters of the workin' man.
You can get everything from boots to bullets. I just stocked up on 400rds 5.56, 100 7.62x39, 25 expensive little .380 HST Federal, and a brand-new pair of 12EE Ariat steel toe work boots.

I love that store!
Edit to add Olight to the list as honorable mention. They sell top quality products at reasonable prices.
Have Colt 380 Mustang, and shoot the Xtreme Penetrators 90 gr. 1200fps. Don't believe in HP. If they do their job, they are great, but of you have a barrier (glass/car tin/sheetrock etc) then you have a FMJ, not to mention penetration problems.Just me.

Brownells.

Also, Nine Line Apparel. I figure not many have heard of them but they are local to me and are very pro 2A. They are also pro military and much of their product reflect this.

They are involved with many of the events at my gun club and are very present in SE GA.

I'll support any company that offers a quality product at a reasonable price. I also am not very brand loyal. So I could provide a list several pages long of gun related companies I like, but it would have to be in alphabetical order because I don't really have favorites.

Gun related magazines are OK, it's just anything that "features assault rifles" are supposedly banned. They were pretty vague about that so nobody knows if it's any magazine that ever features a modern sporting rifle, or only magazines that ONLY cover such rifles.

Kroger used to be really cool about guns, stating that they followed whatever the local laws were. But recently they made the statements about magazines depicting "assault rifles" and then ceased selling guns in their Fred Meyer stores, and more recently followed Walmart and banned open carry. They're more of a grey area company now. I work for Kroger in the corporate offices and was pretty ticked when I read the announcements relating to guns. But it hasn't been bad enough for me to start looking for a new employer yet.

For gun companies, I love:

- Ruger
- Palmetto State Armory
- Glock
- Zastava
- Smith & Wesson
- Walther
- BCM
- Heritage

For accessories, I love:

- Magpul (I am a huge Magpul fanboy, I'll admit it)
- Blade-Tech
- Primary Arms
- Condor
- Streamlight
- Hornady
- Hodgdon
- IMR
- Berry's Bullets
- Freedom Munitions
