Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

"Made a little road trip to King's Shooter's Supply in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania on Saturday with my son.
I bought some powder coated cast lead SWC in. 44cal. My son bought powder coated bullets in 10mm and .357calibers.
500 count each.
Stopped at a couple of other gun shops in that area...one was closed and the other was very nice but everything was terribly overpriced. Much higher than other gun shops and quite excessive. The name of the shop is French Creek Outfitters in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Very expensive prices, in my opinion. Example...one pound of gun powder was $34. It's as if they didn't know that the shortages of several years ago are over and gone.
They lost two potential customers...we won't be back."

Common opinion of French Creek, probably why they're closing shop in January.
Always happy to see you at Kings on your monthly trips. Sorry I couldn't take you at the front register on Saturday, pretty busy day. Hope to see you again on your next visit!

Just added 2000 more .22lr to my stash courtesy of the sale at Midway on Remington Thunderbolt. I think I have enough .22lr to survive the next apocalypse (or bad election, which ever comes first).

Superlative Arms adjustable gas block, Midwest Industries free float hand guard, and an ar10T (longer) ejection port rod. All for a S&W ar10 I'm playing with.

Boxes keep showing up at my house with gun stuff. o_O Sometimes I forget that I order things. But it’s like Christmas every week
Got in some more Strike Industries Charging handles and black gas tubes. A Primary Arms shooting mat and a new pistol lock box for my truck.

I'm waiting right now for my plastic ammo boxes to be dropped off from Midway hope the porch pirates don't get them first!

Picked up 5 boxes of Armscor .223 for the stash at Murdoch's in Bozeman. Should have bought more at $4.99 a box, but I had limited extra cash. Kids are expensive, even when they are college age, lol.

It's Christmas time and my hobbies take a back seat. I had to order a Pelican Vault V800 double rifle case though as I saw it on sale for $149. Should be here tomorrow. It is the more economical version of the higher end Pelican, but when I saw them last summer at sportsmans warehouse they seemed to be pretty nice. Now $50 cheaper hard to resist since I was looking anyhow.

Hi...
Be back again after the first of the month sometime, depending on how many range trips we make. That all depends on the weather...my son goes shooting regardless but the cold and wind take a lot of the fun out of shooting for me. I always figure there will be better weather and warmer temperatures before long.
Nice to be appreciated as customers...thanks.

Hi...
Did buy some shooting related items for my son for Christmas.
His new Caldwell Lead Sled 2 arrived yesterday. I also ordered him a chronograph and tripod. The tripod showed up Tuesday...no sign of the chronograph yet.

Only other thing I bought recently is a large funnel to transfer powder from 8lb containers into 1lb containers. The one I was using has too restricted a flow to be efficient.
