I'd heard of guns fitting like a glove, but I'd never experienced it until I bought a 9mm P30. I liked it so much I bought a .40-caliber version too.

Also, the P30 is not highly regarded by many of the reviewers. This is why I knew I wanted the gun! :)

Congrats on your new P30!

What reviewers? Go to Pistol Forum and you will see the P30 is very highly regarded as an extremely reliable, durable, and accurate self defense pistol. Todd Green did an endurance test on his P30 and it went 91,000 rounds.

Absolutely positively 100% agree. The 2 greatest grip designs I own are on my BHPs and my HK P30. I have the large backstrap & side-shells on my P30 and although it ain’t pretty, it fits my big hand just right. Wouldn’t it be nice if Glock could license this grip design, including the grip angle, from HK?

Had mine out today. It was COLD and windy and even with me not feeling my fingers and the target bouncing in the breeze she did great.

let you can shoot double action and a long reset doesn’t bother you this is a fantastic gun.

The trigger is fine for me, no need to do any work on it. Let's face it, it's a service gun. The trigger is a long ride, but it feels pretty damn good. I really like the size of the gun. Feels just like an H&K! :)

I agree the trigger is totally fine for me. I prefer a more deliberate trigger on a defensive firearm. (Not preaching. Not saying anybody else is wrong about there trigger choice, just saying what I prefer for me.). Trying to head off triggering folks about their trigger choice because those threads can almost reach 9vs45 or is .40 dead magnitudes. :)

Is that a bobbed hammer on yours? The V3s have a pretty pronounced spur.

Regardless, the P30 is a very ergonomic double-stack 9mm. It points and shoots very nicely. In fact, I am going to shoot mine on Sunday.

An actual photo of mine. Third time out, I really got into it. If I had to live with only one pistol this could be it. Just a very good all around gun. unnamed - 2019-12-23T170815.323.jpg
