If anyone is interested in shooting paper patched bullets, they will find this book useful. The author was writing circa 1990, so the availability of a wide variety of papers was much greater than it is now, but it still is an interesting publication.

I have a paper copy I bought at a gun show, so I have not downloaded a pdf or ebook of it. I would be interested in hearing how someone makes out. This is a link:

Read it years ago. Brother did a few bullets that way. Don't recall the results.

I have that book here somewhere but it was way above my interests. Back then I was full speed into my Pedersoli Quigley rifle but I never produced a single paper patched bullet. Probably didn’t have the bore for it.
Anyhoos I still enjoy loading my BP 45-70 cartridges.

I’m not willing to give them my credit card info in order to download it. I have a paper copy somewhere but the PDF would be handy.

i shoot paperpatched bullets in my 45/70 and two of my faster twist muzzleloaders. its not rocket science and very easy to do. i get perfect results every shot. been doing it for years.

I have to paper patch. The mk4 Martini-Henry I have is a .46+ caliber rifle. I had good luck with tracing paper. I still haven't bought a proper mould for the rifle.

It's easy and relaxing to do while listening to YouTube videos.
