I’ve never really had much use for an automatic, always relied on good ol’ revolvers.
I stepped into the semi world last week, what an enjoyable pistol to shoot.
For, $212 out the door, best investment I’ve made.

Hard value to beat. It's amazing what is available these days. I have one, too, but have to admit I've yet to get it to the range. Assuming it proves itself, it will largely replace a PF9 as an EDC.

I have 2. One for me and one for my wife. Love em. Palmetto State Armory has them on sale for $179 and if I didn’t already have 2 I’d grab a oat that price!

LGS seems to run either G2C or G2S ever month or two for $159.99 - $179.99. In it's price range it doesn't really have much competition. I have had no real issue out of my PT111 G2 (predecessor). I did put a piece of shrink tubing over the trigger tab to allow me to disengage it a little sooner (Mine dragged and was in danger of breaking and disabling the pistol). If that makes you nervous you can fine tune the disengagement with a little stone work. I believe they redesigned the G2C and improved this. However I think it still can be an issue for some people.

Don't look too hard at the Taurus G3, you'll be out more $$$. Better trigger and sights, just not the conceal-ability.

Taurus seems to be making pretty good firearms
for the money. Just picked up a Model 66 revolver. Nice 7 shot .357. Very accurate in my wife's hands. Don't know about my accuracy with it. Can't get it away from my wife.:D

I have one, it's OK.

I've had the Taurus Millennium G2 PT111 since 2016. The G2C is basically the same gun with some improvements. I don't shoot my Millennium G2 PT111 a lot, it makes it to the range maybe 10 or 11 times a year. I haven't had a malfunction with it. I probably have 1700 rounds through it.

The trigger irritates my trigger finger and it just doesn't feel comfortable in my hand.

The gun is popular and there are upgrades for most of its shortcomings.

I spent money on high-capacity mags for the gun, but that's where I stopped spending. I purchased the gun because I wanted a cheap semi-auto to throw in a GHB that sits in the trunk of my car.

Here is the Taurus Millennium G2 PT111 next to a Kahr CM9 and a Rohrbaugh R9:

Yep. I went to the LGS the other day to fondle the Hellcat and they had the G2c and the G3. The trigger is MUCH better than the G2c.

Mine has that super annoying little catch half-way through the pull. Can't get rid of it. Pulling the trigger on mine is like pulling back on the oar in a boat and it scraping rocks on the bottom half way through.

The trigger on the display model G2c at the LGS had the same sensation. The G3 didn't. But it's substantially larger. LGS price was $250 on the G2c. Didn't even look at the price on the G3.

I think the g2 is a nice gun for the price. I would recommend to any one that needed a ccw gun on a tight budget. If I had a do over I would spend a few dollars more and got satin slide model. It does seem rust pretty easy.
