If their quality is anything like what I've experienced in the past, a sixth shot does you no good if the cylinder locks up after the second.

This implies in your experience that you didnt make it through a full cylinder with a kimber.

Oh, wait. Sorry, my mistake. You’ve only “experienced” a kimber 1911 and a micro 9. Not a kimber revolver.

Where in the blazes did I state that I couldn't make it through a full cylinder ?
Dude, you've already dug such a hole for yourself that I've gotta give you credit for even returning to the thread.

Here's the deal. I've been shooting 1911s for over 50 years. I've owned Colt's, Remington-Rand, Ithaca, Springfield Armory, Les Baer, Wilson's, Ed Brown and Kimbers -- four excellent Kimbers since 1996. As others have noted, Kimbers are typically good to go, a few problems in the past, but still putting out worthy handguns.

Read your OP -- your certainly implied that you didn't have faith you'd make it through a cylinder with a Kimber K6.

If their quality is anything like what I've experienced in the past, a sixth shot does you no good if the cylinder locks up after the second.
As I stated previously, your credibility rating is now exactly ZERO. Heed the advice of one of our reasonable members: "Read more, post less." Gain some actual experience prior to attempting to tell the rest of us how things are ...
