A time for reflection and giving thanks

Sitting here this morning enjoying a nice cup of coffee and thinking. Sometimes I sit and think. Sometimes I just sit. We take so much for granted. There are such a wide range of people on The High Road. Lots of thoughts and observations are shared here. We argue a bit. Some of what is posted is just downright funny and yes, some comments are abrasive at times. All that in mind, I don’t think I’ve seen a single person on this site that would not offer a word of advice, encouragement or appreciation. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate on The High Road. I wish everyone a safe and pleasant holiday season!

Yep, THR has been a source of fun, encouragement, most importantly, knowledge regarding firearms, tactics, training focuses, reloading, etc.

While we don't always agree, when it comes down to it, most of us will cover the backs and defend the rights of others here, as long as they are responsible and legal. It is also a place where I have gleaned more info than I could ever remember about guns and ammo. Long Live THR!

Y’all are my favorite forum on the web, a great group of men and women I enjoy talking guns with. I’ve learned much here over the years, for which I am grateful, and hope I have made some small contribution to the discussion. Thanks for a great 2019.

whatnickname, I don't think it's a matter of taking things for granted as it is a change in perspective. As I've grown older my idea of value has changed.

Hope everyone's Christmas holiday is still lingering in the air, family, friends, good memories. AND...no one ate too much :what:

Looking forward to another excellent year. More ppl that realize whatever an individuals preferences, competition, SD, collecting, advocating. Even only shooting once a year, we are all in this together :thumbup:
