Well the "Show us your favorite 45 ACP" thread is fun. Lots of pretty pictures make for a good thread.

So lets do another one.

No bashing, only good natured fun. Here's mine. It's a SAO Sig Sauer P220 with a 5" barrel, an adjustable rear sight, and front night sight. It's a ton of fun to shoot, and while the trigger isn't as nice as a1911, it sure does break cleanly.

What do you have?

Let us know what you think of the Rock Island after you've had some experience with it.

I'm of a mind to do the 10mm pistol/carbine thing, but am not familiar with what's available.

My favorite is the S&W 610 but that's not what you asked...

Well, the S&W 610 is chambered for 10mm Auto so I think it fits. 45 ACP revolvers are included in the "Favorite 45 Auto" thread.

The S&W 610 is also my favorite 10mm Auto chambered gun. Of course, it is my only 10mm Auto--at least at the moment.:)

Sure, I know its failings but I wanted one for so long before I got it that I'll forgive them. I know it's *unsupported*, I know it beats its own rear sight to holy hell but dammit, It's a Colt Gold Cup National Match Delta Elite and I pined for one for many years.

Let all the others go including the best I've had - a Glock. Might fall into a Dan Wesson one day or a mildly used Bren 10, maybe a Smith1076 +/- too.

I'm saving right now for my 10mm. I just can't seem to decide between the Dan Wesson Kodiak or the Springfield Armory TRP, both with long slides.

My first three, all bought the same year. The delta is my favorite it has killed many deer. It handles 200 gr. 1200 fps handloads in starline brass. Probably 2k of them. It did blow out brass twice with some BVAC in junk armscorp brass (that the glocks handle fine) so the chamber support isn't stellar. It's my most accurate colt but the sorriest looking. The roll marking on the other side is so off that it's deep one end and not there on the other. Lol.

The 20 has killed a few deer. (Maybe 10) the 29 is easily my least favorite 10 nowadays. My 220 is growing on me though.

I only have the RIA 10mm so far but I fully intend to purchase the awesome new Steyr M10 longslide... should they ever make one.
