Get a Glock then, Trunk Monkey.....I would wish you happiness with it, but it sounds like you don't enjoy guns....Nothing wrong with that I guess...I have a lawn mower, but don't particularly enjoy pushing it around the yard...lol

I have a Glock.

I don't dislike guns, if I did I wouldn't be here I just don't get any particular thrill out of them.

I mean I understand the enjoyment of collecting it's just that for me it's not guns.

I collect books. I have a 1968 first paperback unabridged edition of Dune that I bought about 3 years ago for $1.62. All the newer editions have about 20 pages worth of material edited out.

I found it in a used bookstore and the counter guy was about to throw it away because a few pages were loose. I told him he'd draw back a stump if he touched that book. He discounted it and sold it to me.

I found the same book on Ebay for 75 bucks.

We just worry about their owners. They take perfection then spend $1,500 making it unperfect.
I have less than $300.00 into my Glock 34 including a $200.00 optic and all of my buddies love it. Blind guys need some help. My $1200.00 1911's get the same upgrades. Except trigger parts cost alot more.

I don't hate Glocks - actually, I'm quite indifferent towards them. But it's sooo easy to troll you guys - sorry, but I couldn't resist the temptation... :D

For me it's the G29. It's small enough to carry concealed. I can use it for everything from deer hunting to GSSF matches to concealed carry, can shoot .40 S&W with stock barrel, and can use the 15-round G20 mags in it.

You have to wonder about the psychology of those who constantly troll Glock threads. How often do you see people going into a thread about any other gun simply for the purpose of expressing their hatred of them? I mean, really. It's tiresome and immature.

It has to be the G37. I don't understand how the best one wouldn't be a full size, ten round capacity, non-standard caliber handgun. It is the epitome of perfection.
I hope that's not sarcasm, the g37 is so fine. During ammo shortages you are unaffected (because no one sells 45 gap anyway), lower capacity means it weighs less (than an x frame), the grip is slim enough for a manlet and I heard it's Steve urkel's edc.
All joking aside, you didn't have to go there.
:uhoh::rofl:

G29 is on my buy list for 2020, along with a G30. Never shot a 29 but I shoot my friends G30 as well as my 21.

My 1 Glock would have to be the G23 for reasons earlier mentioned...size, flexibility, I shoot it pretty well...and it just a decent all around pistol IMO

I got rid of my g21 because I really couldn't tell much difference if any between it and my g30. And already owning a g20, I figured I would never use The 21. I was right, I resisted for a few years and the 21 got dusty and lazy. Sold it for what I paid for it, that was 6 years ago and don't miss it.

Honestly, this scenario as laid out by the OP, would never happen. It would be against nature. In life there is always good and evil struggling for their place in the circle of life. If Glock went away the emptiness felt by the Glock haters would be profound and nature abhors a vacuum. No, Glock is forever.

I believe I just came up with their new slogan...

They apparently think the person a G19 isn't perfect for doesn't exist.
Although the Glock 19 is a gun I'd recommend to most, it's not my pick because 9mm just isn't my top pick for a caliber. Yes, it's a good caliber and if I was issued or if I wanted to compete, I'd feel very comfortable with it, however as for guns I'd own and handload for, 9mm is just not the first choice for me. Another thing that turns me off is you can't really convert or swap a Glock 19 to anything else. A Glock 23 you could, but 19 is too small to accept any other caliber barrels . So all in all I'd rather pick the 23 over the 19.

If Glock were to stop production of all it's models except one which would you choose?
Wait.... WHAT?!? Glock is to stop production of ALL models but one? I'm going to take this as a sign that It is now my mission to start an internet rumor, you're WELCOME!:neener:

Aw hell - I hope it's the round-logo, black *78* with saw back 'cause, I loaned mine out and never got it back!

No, I really want it to be a 20 with the manual safety from the 46..... Oh YES PLEASE!!!!!

G19. G17 and 19 to me are the only ‘true glocks’ ... the rest are same- branded copycat knock-offs and caliber conversions.

I don’t own a single one though... have in the past but decided I prefer the m&p line so invested there.

RTF2 G17 to be specific. The rest can disappear from my safe and wouldn't be missed.

The way I look at it they're 5 Glocks.

G17
G20
G42
G43
G46

Everything else is a modification of those 4 frame sizes and the G46 is a significant operational design change.

If I had to chose one single Glock above all others, it would have to be the G30. From the .45 you can convert to 10mm, .40, 9mm, even .22lr if you wish.

I actually like the G21 better, but it's a bear to carry concealed. ;)

Did someone say G46? Rotating barrel? Hmmm. I'll have to postpone my answer for now.
