Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Gearing up for my incoming PSA AK.
A sight adjustment tool and a low-profile Weaver-mount peep sight (I have a Texas Weapons System top cover laying around).
And, tangentially, a tiny paintbrush and a couple Testors enamel paints. Going to use those to finally color in the various markings on a lot of my guns.

This might be a stretch for "Gun Related" But I got a meat scale to try standardizing my venison jerky recipie.

Seems I read that weighing the meat and adding spice in exacting proportions is key to consistancy.\ although even though its a bit different every time, when I mail it to SC and NH, I have yet to get a complaint.

I suppose a neck sizing Die for my parts gun 1903A3 is next on order

I just ordered a scout scope base for my 1893 Spanish mauser

.38 Special/.357 Range Rod. Been looking at them for years, finally decided why not. I see more revolvers in my future.

Parts are trickling in for my first AR build, Ballistic Advantage had a nice sale on barrels so that's done. Local distributor had Magpul furniture on sale along with CMMG lower parts kit, Still need a BCG, buffer tube kit and, trying to decide an economical pop up sight to go with the A2 up front.

Recently got my latest order from Numrich Gun Parts Corp. , ( gunpartscorp.com ). A spike bayonet and a canvas bayonet frog for the #4 MK 1 Lee-Enfield that will soon be undergoing the process of being "de-sporterized", or is that "unsporterized" ? The gun itself has never been chopped up in any way and I still have all the original, matching number wood, and all the other original to this very rifle stuff that it came with when it was produced at Long Branch, Ontario, Canada, in 1945. Should be an interesting project. Will post pictures in the "Old Firearms Projects In Limbo" thread in the "Rifle Country" section of THR in a week or two when it gets going. The bayonet still has a good amount of cosmoline on it but should clean up nicely. When this project is finished I want to have this stuff to go along with what will hopefully once again be a nice, unmolested, matching numbers, Lee-Enfield. Should be an interesting project......................

Hi...
Made a little trip to King of Prussia, PA to pick up some bullets at Kings Shooter's Supply.
Picked up 3500 coated bullets in calibers ranging from 9mm, .38/357, .44, 10mm and .45Colt.
We have had excellent service from Kings and they provide outstanding products at what I believe is a very reasonable price.

Went to the gun show at the fairgrounds in Orlando last weekend. Bought a couple of thirty cans for ammo storage, and a set of used reloading dies for 6.5 Swede.

Ahem ... yes, well ... I ordered dies and brass in 280 Ackley for the rifle that is also on its way ...

Guess I should revisit the "Who has completed their gun collection?" thread. A 280 Ackley was the last one on my list.
