Those look like a very nice option.

I like the palm swell on those. How do you think they would work for XL hands?
The meatiness of your hands matters too. I have XL hands, but they are boney. So I find a closed backstrap on my L frames to work best. However if you have pudgy paws, those might work perfectly.

I have larger hands and they fit me nicely.

I had Kim Ahrend Combat grips on it and they just did not work with full house 357 loads. Much nicer for target work as well running .38 Spl. wadcutters.

Never did like the rubber S & W grips it came with!

They look great!

I wish they offered the Coke bottle profile for the gp100. I have the target grips the offer and am not a fan of their feel. They fit and look great! But the size of them and the way they taper.make the gun sink into your hand under recoil, requiring a regrip between shots unless you use a REALLY tight grip. The match champion grips or mutliptle sets of finger grooves grips don't do that. The palm swell of those Coke bottle grips would be the hot ticket!

That's my problem with most revolver grips. I don't have "pudgy paws" or boney fingers. My paws are wide and I find a lot of grips to be too short. I am very comfortable with the classic plow handle on my SAs placing my pinky under the grip but that's not real comfortable with the DAs.
My 686 has the stock wood grip and it's close to good enough but I might try some of those coke bottles.

In the same boat, I got wide palms, short fingers. Hogues andnplow handles tend to fit me well. But those Coke bottles sure are appealing.

Ah, then yes a coke bottle grip or some other round to square butt conversion sounds just right for you. Hope they work out!

Could be wrong but I thought I saw the Coke Bottles for GP 100 on their website.

This are the ones I mentioned I have. They're a nice grip but the profile just doesn't work for me, encourages the gun to slide down in the hand under recoil unfortunately. They're also kind of short height wise.

I did email altamont suggesting they offer a set of "Coke bottle" grips for the gp100. Mentioned the reasons why I disliked the target style. Also mentioned no one offers an economical version similar to the Coke bottle style, so there is a niche. Some of the Thai made grips are decent but don't scratch the itch. Only way to get something similar is spend a few hundred on really nice custom grips. At that point I'd be afraid to ding them up hunting. But at the end of the day it's no biggie, although not classic, the hogues work well enough. Looking to hear how yours feel when ya shoot, enjoy!

I had a set on an N-frame Smith and Wesson. I don't remember if I ever shot the gun that wore them, but they looked and felt good.

I sold the gun and the grips are in my "stuff I might need someday" drawer.

They are just what the Doctor ordered MidRoad! I ran 150 rounds through it this afternoon and they were a real treat! Really pleased with them!
