I keep forgetting I own this pistol, it found a place in the back of my safe. I bought it about a year ago. It was labeled as the Glock 19 Killer, which is a real stretch. I've shot it about a half dozen times with pretty good results. One thing I will say, the gun is rock solid, and even the trigger is improved over past models. They are now selling for less than $400 bucks as we speak. That is a real bargain for an S&W. IMG_6627.JPG

If I were looking to replace my 320, it would be way up on the list. I dont care for Glocks. My Shield is a winner, my Bodyguard is a very solid little pocket gun. I like the line, overall.

The Gun is 100% reliable and built like a tank. Stainless steel reinforcement in the frame. The ergonomics are excellent.

That's one of many on my Want List. I'm just so heavily invested in my G19 that replacing it would cost me a bunch of money after you figure in holsters, mags, etc.

I have one just like it in .40 S&W.
They are generally even cheaper than 9mm.
It makes a fine companion to my Shield.

I don't much care for the Glock Killer reference either. Glock makes fine pistols and the M&P M2.0 Compact makes a fine alternative to the G19/G23 if they are not for you for whatever reason.

I think they are the "pound for pound" champs on the market right now for quality, reliability, aftermarket, and price.

I plan on getting one one day, but I really don't have a need for another striker-nine.

I have the .40 caliber version. It is a nice pistol. To be honest when I bought it I was thinking I wanted a G-23 but decided on the Smith because I could buy new for the same price I had been seeing used G-23's go for. I believe it will do anything the Glock will. Aftermarket support is plentiful. It is the size I wanted.

Great pistols. Don't think I'd forget I owned one, I'd be carrying it regularly. The full-size 2.0 made me appreciate the M&Ps so much more; the 2.0 triggers have made the M&P one of the two best striker-fired polymer framed pistols on the market in my opinion.

I really like mine, a 9mm with a 4" barrel. It's a little on the big side for everyday carry but I do carry it quite a bit, and it's definitely my default to throw in the truck for a trip or that sort of thing. It's accurate, shoots really soft and has a very nice trigger. I don't know if it's a Glock 19 killer or not, but I personally like it better.

I have gone through 5 of the M&P pistols in various sizes and calibers and have not found one that can match any of my Glocks for accuracy.

It's my only complaint about them, really. Tried dozens of factory loads and handloads and the best is still barely acceptable.

One is still my main carry pistol, though.

Yeah the M&P 2.0 line are pretty nice pistols and pricing reflects supply and demand. I prefer Glocks though and have no problem paying the Glock premium and will probably buy a Glock 19 MOS before too long. It is good that there are so many choices and good supply but who knows how much longer that will last.

My MOS shares CCW duties with my M&P...
