I bet he had plenty of signs advertising his business, but good for him. It’s a sign that the civilian population can reach out and touch somebody should that extreme need ever arise. Maybe the elected officials will take note.

I briefly joked with a motorcycle cop about that guy. The cop didn't care that he was carrying a 50 cal around, the cop thought it was funny that the guy would lug it around all day at a rally.

Only inside the fenced in area.. VCDL had asked for 3-5 armed folks to stand guard outside the fence for each of the 10K who were expected inside the fence.

Yep, the streets outside were under VA law. The open carry of guns is legal. To carry large...err...standard size magazine with a rifle, you may need a concealed carry permit. I'm not 100% sure, but I hardly ever open carry rifles.

While you are correct, the anti’s will tout this as a victory for Northam because he banned firearms inside the fence, therefore preventing a mass shooting. And no violence outside the fence was somehow a miracle since there were so many white nationalists and crazy people with guns.
That's because the crazies were by themselves. If woke people were there, it may have been different.

But I would say you point still stands. very successful rally IMO, our message was strongly delivered in a peaceful fashion.
