I'm glad this is America and we can all dress how we want even if that multicam plate carrier clashes with your AR in mossy oak duracoat. I'd prefer if the militia guys had stuck to pink bunny slippers and uzis myself. How about a little class in our rally?

AMEN!!!

I recently showed a photo of me in my uniform, age 20 or so. I wore a Small regular size BDU. 130 lbs. Now I'm a "dad bod." Kids asked me "what happened?" I said I left the military and stopped doing PT. (And I'm just now starting to really regret it. (The no PT part anyway.)

Capitol Police says 22,000 there. A bunch were backed up at the Diamond awaiting shuttles and never made it downtown.

I think 22,000 immediately surrounding the capital grounds. There were many many more streaming in and couldn't make it because all the parking lots were over capacity. Doc said 10 AM estimate was already 50K (See helicopter overview shot below) so 100K by height of the rally is very believable.

Add to this the number of people who just couldn't find place to park or planned to attend but got delayed/traffic/something came up and you would have much more in attendance.

I am looking forward to future rallies and plan to attend rallies closer to home.

I'm glad it went well. I didn't think it would. I'm also glad it was so well attended. This might be the largest 2A rally in history.

For those of you saying 50k or 100k in attendance, do you have a reliable source for those estimates? Because I know that, as soon as I say it to someone, they're going to ask me to prove it.

Same here. It was successful. Now, the challenge will be to replicate the same success at the next event. How do you get this many people to show up again?

Well, a start would be to NOT attempt discouragement:cool: based on unreasonable hypothetical fears and projecting same; telling ppl that there WILL be violence, don't go

Warmer weather, closer to larger population centers, more parking, more/better food vendors/BBQ, other sightseeing/points of interest in the area, etc. ;)

I urge each of my Virginia brothers and sisters to vote and encourage others to vote out The anti's and install true patriots. GET ACTIVE KEEP UP THE PRESSURE
Without that we are doomed

REMEMBER VOTING IS NOT ACTVISM, GET OUT THERE, TALK TO , CALL, EMAIL YOUR REPS. OFTEN. ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO CALL AND SEND EMAIL.DO NOT LET UP THE PRESSURE.
THIS IS NOT A SPECTATOR SPORT!

I totally agree! May all liberty loving people see this as a wake up call and be a responsible "We the People"!
