Welcome to all the newbies. Spread the word that THR is here with information, help, interesting stuff and just a good place to chat with like minded folks to gain a little ammo when you find yourself in a conversation with a fence sitter.

Hello,
New member from Oregon. I have hunted my whole life, both archery and with a rifle. I have been reloading for my hunting rifles for about 10 years. I am a member of a local shooting range but don’t shoot as much as I would like to. I found this forum recently while doing an internet search for refining a gunstock. I have enjoyed reading posts and look forward to joining in.

Hello all, ArkSlim here mostly interested in CCW issues and currently all types of SKS rifles . Have been involved in Cowboy action shooting but had to stop due to physical issues. Currently target shooting and looking for somewhere to go hog hunting looking for an Sks in good shape to use. I live in the Rio Grande Valley and have for 5 yrs. Prior to this we were R.V. ing for 16 yrs. Hop to be able to contribute to The high road forums some way. Thanks ArkSlim

Greetings from northern Vermont. Kris here. I'm a hunter: squirrels, rabbits, grouse (pa'tridge), woodcock, woodchuck, coyote, deer. I prefer useful guns, those appropriate for the field...as long as they have wood stocks: poly is too noisy in the brush. Range toys don't interest me much, and I don't really own any. I'm interested in the concept of a do-all rifle, maybe not perfect for a specific task, but capable of handling many roles. I am a handloader: 22 Hornet, 38/357, 44 Spl, 30/30, 32 Spl, 308, 270. And I'm glad to be a member of this forum. Thank you.

Electricmo here. I've been lurking for awhile. I enjoy shooting all kinds of pistols, revolvers, shotguns and rifles. Been doing it for 40+ years. I like steel and wood things. Polymer and striker fired stuff doesn't interest me. I don't think they are junk just not my cup of tea. I'm very conservative and label myself that way. Gun rights and the 2nd amendment reign supreme. I support our Military, capitalism and for the moment President Donald Trump! GOD help us all!

Welcome to the forum, enjoy your stay here at The High Road.

I live in Northern New England. Though I have an AR15 and have owned contemporary pistols, I enjoy revolvers, lever actions and military bolt actions, slide action shotguns the most and I'm increasing developing an affinity for blackpowder. I'm also a handloader but not a caster(yet).

My name is Michael Ejercito.

Hello,
I am a gunsmith just west of St. Louis, MO. I have experience with multiple platforms, and I’d like to share some of my knowledge to fellow gun enthusiasts. I am well versed in many platforms including NFA weapons. Feel free to ask any questions and I’ll do my best to share what I know, as well as learn things I do not know. Thank you for including me, I look forward to being a part of this forum!

Hi,
I'm in California and I have a handful of pistols and one rifle-10/22. I like to punch holes in paper and I've been reloading 9mm, .45ACP, 38special and .357 magnum for a couple of years.

Howdy from Missouri. Been into guns since '72. My first love is the 1911 but that doesn't stop me from enjoying revolvers, pistols, rifles also black powder rifles and revolvers. I also like to reload.

Hey folks- I've been reading this site for ten years or so; seems like any time I need a detailed answer to a serious question I end up here sooner than later. So here I am.
I've been shooting on and off most of my life, but nothing serious. I pretty much always knew I'd end up handloading but the time was never right until just recently.
Everyone says what a rabbit-hole this can be-- I was initially thinking, 'well, buy a press, learn some things, save a little money, no big deal...' heh. $1400.00 later...
Yeah. So much to learn; I should've started way earlier. I can't wait to dig deeper.

To those who are long-time contributors, moderators, and admins here, even though we don't know one another I've probably already learned from you. Thanks for being here and taking the time.

I don't own much fancy, just some basics. Right now working on loading for .45, 9mm, and .223 with plans for .38/.357 and .303 British. My buddy wants to see about reloading shotshells so I guess that too.
I shoot a little blackpowder, make my own since I used to dabble in pyro. I've started a lead scrap collection for casting.

Lookit there ^^ - I'm writing a book! Just wanted to say howdy and the main reason I signed up just tonight was to kinda say thanks for all the years of wisdom by posting about a sale at American Reloading. I'll put that over in the components thread at 'Handloading and Reloading'.

I haven't participated in an online forum in years. If anyone talks at me I'll try to respond when I can but that might not be right away unless I'm already online and here.

See ya around.
-Jonas
