I fondled both the P365 and the Hellcat at the LGS last month and liked the Hellcat slightly more, but the P365 with the 12 round magazine was perfect and had a better trigger. LGS has the P365 with the TacPac package for $549. A very good price.

You basically get the P365 with a manual safety, which I wanted, 3 of the $42 12-round magazines, and a plastic holster which I would likely never use.

I decided that I would buy the P365 TacPac and went to the LGS today to buy one. All gone.

Hellcats were all gone as well.

Went online and can't find them anywhere. Palmetto State Armory was out and I put in an email notification when they are in since I've bought a few guns from them in the past and was happy.

But, the complete disappearance of the TacPac from all dealers, both online and locally, has me worried that maybe Sig decided to no longer offer it.

Anyone have any insight into this?

If I have to just buy the manual safety version by itself and then buy the 12-round mags later, then no big deal, but I was hoping to have this pistol in hand within a month or so, before WA goes full-retard with more gun restrictions.

Found one in Texas for $529 and free shipping. Good reviews for the place; Alpine Shooting Range in Fort Worth. Placed the order, so I guess we'll see what happens.

If I would have bought from the LGS, which is in Idaho, they would have had to send it to my FFL in Washington 22 miles away, anyway. I'll likely get the pistol in about the same amount of time. Washington has a 10-day waiting period anyway, so either way, I wasn't going to be able to bring it home any time soon.

Couldn't find any accuracy testing, so when it's received, I'll head to the range and do a full evaluation and post up actual pics of actual targets with various ammo types.

Why do you insist on the thumb safety? My 2 365s are great without one more thing to think about

Was the $529 without the TacPack?

I fondled both at the local gun show and kind of liked the Hell Cat just a bit better. Ended up ordering a P365 on Saturday and might get a Hell Cat next month to see which one shoots best for me.

I like thumb safeties because they're easy to disengage when you want to shoot, and prevent NDs when you don't.

I carry a Glock but I definitely don't hate safeties. At this point I'm trained but I wouldn't have hated it if Glock had a safety from the get go.

$529 was with the TacPac and free shipping, so really happy with the price.

I agree, I liked the feel of the Hellcat a little better, but the benefit of having a safety for pocket carry pushed me to the P365. I also ordered the Hogue grip for it to see if that helped.

I would likely get a regular P365 for $399.99 and carry the flush 10 round and pickup two 15 rounds.

Don't know if you can get a Safety Model for that.

That said the layout of the P365 is more difficult for large hands compared to the Hellcat.

Cabela's had a $399 2 tone with 1 mag for Black Friday. My wife noticed this and bought some gift cards at a discount so I got it for $341 OTD. I have seen this price there again so worth checking periodically.
