What is your dream revolver?

I like the overall concept of the *Fitz* but stop at the trigger guard and not for the usual reasons but rather, it seems to stand against my demand for compat pistols to be as snag-free as possible.

Handling and shooting it, do you note that the potentially snaggy nature of the trigger/guard is mitigated by an improvement in access to the trigger?

Todd.
Interesting question. Admittedly I have not shot the revolver yet. Apparently neither did the previous owner. What you can't see in the video is the cobwebs in the cylinder holes. I do plan on shooting it though. I have attempted quite a few presentations from a pair of regular jeans which the is rather heavy for but doable. Coat pocket presentations are fine goes in and out no problems. One has to realize the trigger although smooth and crisp is probably 12 pounds, pulling the trigger would be hard to do if not deliberate. This gun was certainly not meant for a holster but can be fire from inside the pocket, provided it is alone in the pocket. The way the trigger is bobbed it makes it so someone with smaller hands can grab the pistol higher up and comfortable pull that trigger. I can see with the open trigger guard it is really ready to go no matter how you hold the gun. I would think being the trigger guard could hang it up but it seems really rigid and rather thick you would have to beat it down like hammer. Even if you bent the trigger guard I am confident it will still fire. It works with mittens too!

I hadn't thought of a benefit being fired from a concealed position without so great a trigger-finger flexion. Makes great sense in that point of view.

Had to find some shooting vids of that Raging Judge.. That is nice.. Huge but nice

More shooting.. Watermellon style

Without hesitation, my “dream gun” would be a S&W Registered Magnum complete with all original papers, box and accessories all in flawless condition. For me, it could not be any better than that. Of course, it would become a safe queen only to be taken out and admired occasionally. For a shooter, I would like to have my 1970’s nickel 6” Python with factory action work back! That gun had the smoothest action on any gun I have ever felt.

Add to my previous list for a Taurus 450 4" in 45 colt like one I foolishly sold years ago.
No that they make the Judge they no longer make a 450 in 45 Colt only with the short K frame cylinder

Dream revolver is, of course, the Colt Python with an 8inch barrel. Its kinda funny, I have no real fondness for revolvers, but that one just stuck out as a beautiful masterpiece I would have loved to have owned. Yes, they are making them again, but for me, it would have to be an original. Just the way I am.

My dream revolver a friend of mine owns 1957 python 4 inch. The cyl closure feels like a bank vault. The trigger- From heaven. My first python handling expirience but I won’t ever forget
