I love the compact size pistols, G23, P229, P227, Commander all of which I own but one I have not got my hands on yet is a Sig P220 SAS the dang things are hard to find and the price keeps going up but Im sure I will find one sooner or later if I keep looking

I think it will fit in perfectly with these guys

There is (or was) one at a shop here. Not sure if it's still there, haven't visited in a while. It was a temptation to be sure.

Had a 245 for a while (looks like the same type of setup). Was unimpressed with how it fit my hands, grip was too small for a comfortable 3 finger grip, but too big to curl a pinky under like I do with small guns.

Ended up just always using an xgrip and full size 220 mag.

Guy I sold it to might still have it.

I think the OP wants the uncommon compact model more than the uncommon chambering.

Now if your talking a P220 SAS in 38 Super.....
I'll wait to see what response the OP posts himself. He may not have even heard of a Sig P220 in .38 Super Auto, and become interested.

I know what it is and wouldn't mind having it but I'm not selling a kidney to own one ;)

If you're not glued to the SAS specifically, I do see a number of P245 and P220 compacts on GunBroker that aren't ludicrously overpriced.

Looked like even a 227 SAS on there yesterday, if my back hadn't decided its just too heavy for me these days (and I just ordered a Wilson) I'd be thinking about that one.

Mr. Zorg

I have a P220 in .38 Super Auto if you're honestly interested in an out of production Sig.

I still kick myself for not buying a couple of Browning BDAs in .38 Super and 9mm. when they were collecting dust on most dealer's shelves.

I had one but for personal reasons could not possibly keep. It was given to me by will. I handled it for a few hours and gave it back to the executor of the will.
