Hello, haven't done any e-file form 1's since before the 41F rule change. I see from the link below that you submit your e-file form 1 and they snail-mail you a cover letter for you to send back to them with fingerprint cards within 10 days of the initial form 1 e-file. Is this correct? Seems like a very narrow window.

Thanks for any info.

Similarly to the individual route, a cover sheet will be sent to the applicant so that fingerprint cards for all RPs can be mailed back in to the ATF within 10 days of Form 1 submission.

no. you will out the stuff online you you get a 1 page paper you download and print out and mail to them with your fingerprints. usually within 3 weeks of mailing it out you get an email form 1 approval pdf. You never get a real piece of paper or stamp from the ATF if you efile. The paper looks like this.

Ok you download the cover letter when you file and mail it in with fingerprint cards? Makes more sense. I knew they only email you a tax stamp back, I have a few I've e-filed before just not since they started making Trusts do fingerprints/photos.
