I know it’s probably been ask before but could someone post a picture of a Polish P64 on top of a FEG R61 or vice-versa to show which is shorter ? Thanks guys.
Owned a P64 many years ago because they were cheap and I was poor. The DA trigger was hands down the hardest trigger I’d ever seen. I even did the Wolff sporting kit change and it was still pretty terrible. And the recoil was nasty as well. It would destroy the web of my hand. 100 rounds was all I ever wanted to shoot at one time. Unless money is tight, I would never recommend one.
This topic has been discussed on several forums but couldn’t remember seeing a picture like you want. So, here you go.
The first picture is the FEG R61 over the P64.
The middle picture is the P64 over the same FEG R61. Do note that the P64 has the aftermarket Polish Iron grip. It does a good bit to diminish the recoil.
The final picture has two FEG SMC 918 pistols on the top and the previous two guns side by side.
9x18 handguns are one of my favorite to collect and shoot. Even though the FEG SMC’s and R61 are smaller and lighter, their recoil is much more tolerable to where it is not an issue. Both the FEG PA-63 and the Polish P64 have harsher recoil than these small FEG’s. Others have said the same thing.
The wood grips are Marschal grips that are made in Budapest Hungary.
Lincen, I'm also a fan of Marschal grips. Here is a pic of my FEG AP 32acp sporting a set of Marschal grips. Also pictured is my Retolaza Hermanos "RUBY" and KT P32.

I’ve been accused of being a grip collector because of the many wood grips bought to replace and “protect” the original plastic grips. Wood really dresses up a handgun. Denis Marschal does great work and those really look good on your FEG.
