Any thoughts on the new Walther Q4...

For that kind of money I could buy a good Pistol. Looked up the cost, around $1200 bucks. Can you say CZ Shadow 2!

Seems pretty cool. Out of my price range, but I'm probably not their audience. Wonder what the hex bolt spanning the lower part of the grip frame is for?

Common place to put an attachment point for a magwell...?

Not familiar with those kind of attachments. This picture shows a better view of it. Right under the grip.

Again, that looks like a typical magwell attachment point.

Here's a picture of a different gun with a magwell in place. You can see the screw on this pretty easily, and it's in a similar spot:

Here's another - since both the screw and magwell are black, it's a little tougher to see:

This one has the bolt head on the other side, but you can see the end of it - again, in roughly the same spot:

Wish they had produced my Walther P99 AS in all-steel, and for the same price. It's my only polymer gun, other than the M&P .22 (same factory: Ulm, Germany).

My holster for the P99, metal Sig P6 and metal CZ PCR >> Has No Clip or slot<< -- the classic Remora holster. And some of us have gone on exercise runs (wooded dirt trails) with these in such a Remora.
