Bad News for CA outright Lead ammo ban

If it helps supporters of the main political party momentarily forget about the homelessness crisis and terrible street conditions---

......using ammo as a deception, then it must be "Good".

And my multiple cases of bimetal-coated steel bullet (7.62x39) ammo is even better .....has suddenly become so chic.

You know..... I've never seen a gun manual (besides shotguns) that said it's ok to use anything other than lead bullets.

This bill is NOT about the environment. If it were it wouldn't apply to only sport shooting ranges, but to the 32 military bases and all California law enforcement. If it is fiscally unreasonable to require their practice to be with lead-free ammo, I can see how that argument might apply to an individual as well. I would really like to see a comparison of per annum purchases of ammunition civilian vs government in California. I think the government is poisoning the state with its firearms practice.

Soon enough, California will not let you defend your life and family from the bad guys because you did not use lead free ammunition.

Join the migration:

691,000 people moved out of California last year. Here's where they went

Basically California is having a net loss of people, and based on everything I have read, the place is too liberal, too anti gun, and too damn crazy to live in. Los Angeles county has 61,000 homeless people and all the Governor can do is blame the Federal Government for not giving the state more Federal money.

Great Grandpa owned and farmed most of the land between Downey and Long Beach.
Grandpa discovered oil near Beacon Hill.
He and his brother wound up owning an oil company there.

You couldn't talk me into going back to Los Angeles if you gave all that back to me.

I moved back to California last year to beef up my retirement at an agency that I worked at before. My plan was to retire in 3 years and leave the state again. I found out if I stayed one more year I could add $700 per month more to my retirement.

Suddenly $700 a month doesn’t sound as appealing. $8400 is a nice little bonus per year for tolerating the BS of living here but the way things are going makes it a tough decision.

What will really suck, if we do not defeat this, is my Cowboy Action Shooting will probably end, at least here it will.

Looks like I will be making some calls to my so-called representatives.

NIGHTLORD40K said "Come to Florida. We need all the sane folks we can get".

Besides their very pro 2nd Amendment laws, Serbu Arms is another reason to visit or live in Florida. Here is Mark Serbu's "presentable" daughter Valerie (fluent in German), who does some of the highly-skilled component assembly in the plant:

And here is one of Val's Florida friends, the prolific, delectable "BunnyHunter". A British journalist who somewhat mocks her very enthusiastic acceptance of pro-gun laws in the US interviewed her at home. He seems to imply that she is just a misguided American blond gun nut.
