I have been looking for a second sizer/lubricator and see a lot of 45s on eBay. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in person. Is the die retained the same way they are in later models with a nut that screws in or is there a set screw in front? The reason I wonder is because none of the 45s, not even with the original box, seem to have the wrench for the retaining nut that later models do.

Mine doesn't have a nut, just the set screw. If you look on Cast Boolits I see rcbs and Lyman 450's for sale quite often. The linkages and arm seems to be much stronger in the 450/4500 or LAM/ LAM2. I just bought a LAM 2 on CB for 75.00. And parts are free if you get a RCBS unit.
