Pulled some money to build a shop but that’s on hold, hopefully enough folks panic to push the market below 15,000, then I’ll wait until the end of the year and build it for half the cost.
That would be just great , Thanks.

And 1000 sheets per roll is way too many.
Yeah, now That's funny."Wiping away your fears." Excellent.
That's ridiculous. Obviously we need some common sense toilet paper control. No one needs a couple dozen rolls of toilet paper!
And 1000 sheets per roll is way too many. There ought to be a reasonable limit. And it must be locked up and inaccessible until time of need. THINK OF THE CHILDREN
I never buy anything I don't intend to use. They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions though, and the intentions I had to build a privacy fence are now part of the table I made to put ammo on for guns I haven't owned in 20 years...don’t understand why some people buy ammo that they never plan to shoot.
I do understand that some people sell or trade guns and end up with ammo they no longer need. I see that ammo as money that can be put into something else.I never buy anything I don't intend to use. I dont know if its because PSA is bogged down with ammo orders, but still waiting for them to ship a pistol I ordered Sunday
Part of it is that I can comfortably keep shooting whatever I want at times like this and not worry about it. Plus some of the ammo I have was bought at really good prices which I took advantage of. I got about 1400 rounds of 308 from a pawn shop last year that was part of an estate. The price ended up being half of what you find online. It will take me a while to shoot that, but I figure I will eventually.I do understand that some people sell or trade guns and end up with ammo they no longer need. What I was talking about are the ones that buy more than they know they will ever shoot, but they buy it just to have it.
I friend of mine up in Illinois just bought 7,000 of 7.62 NATO for .25 cents a round from a guy.
The guy’s father had passed away and had over 30,000 rounds of 7.62 ammo. He told my friend that his dad had not been shooting in many years, but just kept buying ammo.

I will end up shooting all of my ammo or have family or friends come shoot with me.
Now I do buy a lot of ammo when the prices are right, but I hand loaded my hunting ammo or anything special that I need.
In the last few years I have been stockpiling, but not for emergencies. I have an emergency stash that I rotate out every few years. What I have been stockpiling for is retirement.
I retire in August and will have to adjust some of my spending habits, no more overtime coming in.
One thing I have learned is that the price of ammo is always going up. So when there’s a good sale or just a super good deal, I buy more ammo.
When I retire in August, I won’t have to buy ammo for three or four years.
Now I have helped friends in times of need because I am able to. During the 22 ammo shortage many of my friends had no trouble finding ammo to hunt or take their kids shooting. When bulk pack Federal was going for around $75 a pack, I was selling it for $25 to $30 to friends. I just set that money aside and when ammo was available again at good prices I bought 20,000 rounds of 22 ammo on my first order. Just last week I had ordered 4,000 rounds of 22. Some was for hunting at .05 cents a round, but 3,000 of it was for plinking at .03 cents a round.
A good friend stopped by the house yesterday to pick up a cedar chest. We were shooting the bull and he mentioned that he had forgot to place an order for some 62gr 5.56 ammo to test out a couple of ARs he had just built. He said he only had about 200 rounds and didn’t want to shoot it all up with all the stuff that was going on. I asked what did he need, 500 or 1,000 rounds. He went home with 1,000 rounds of Federal M855. We agreed that $340 would be a fair price and that he could wait till this Coronavirus stuff blows over to pay me.
Just remember that life is to short to walk around with a stick up you butt. Help out friends and family when you can, and be friendly to people, until you have to punch them in their face.
To any members here on the forum that lives close by, if you got caught off guard and you are shot on ammo, just stop by and I’ll see what I can do.
