Can anyone recommend a source for check weight for smaller beam scales. For example a 50gr, 25gr, 10gr, 5gr set or something similar.

Thanks!

Amazon has good ones for less than half the price of the Lyman. Unless you need them NIST certified, and if you treat them nicely, they are good to go.

Sometimes I wonder if the two companies use the same manufacturer and just badge the products with their own logo and color scheme.

You can save yourself a fair bit of change if you're willing to convert from grams to grains. This set and others like it go for $12 on Amazon versus $40-60 for the Lee or RCBS sets in grains.

In the calibers I reload for, my needs are met with a 1-20 gram check weight set I got for under $7. My typical charge weights are between 60 and 70 grains, so I use the 1/2/5 gram weights. Good enough for me.

100g = 1543.2gr
50g = 771.6gr
20g = 308.6gr
10g = 154.3gr
5g = 77.2gr
2g = 30.9gr
1g = 15.4gr
500mg = 7.7gr
200mg = 3.1gr
100mg = 1.5gr
50mg = .8gr
20mg = .3gr
10mg = .15gr

I use a 55 gr. Berger match bullet to check my scale, rarely. My Redding scale has no adjustments on it, just put everything on zero and use the base leveling screw to put the pointer on zero.
