Ruger EC9s

The only complaint I have about the EC9s is that the recoil is "snappy",,,
But that's not unique to this particular pistol,,,
It's the same with most compact 9's.

I don't own the EC9s but I do own it's ancestor,,,
My LC9 also had that "snappy" recoil,,,
But I cured it for $12.00.

I cured it with this Pachmayer sleeve,,,
It truly makes a huge difference in the snap.

I have two range buddies who own the EC9s,,,
Both have tried this sleeve and love it.

Just a suggestion to make a fine pistol a bit nicer.

I put the same sleeve on my XDS 40 and it worked like a charm.

Oddly enough, I didn't have any issues with recoil with the new P365 or my dad's EC9s. But I installed the Hogue grip on the P365 to make it fit me absolutely perfectly.

Dragging up my old thread to say I went to Academy to look at one of the EC9 pistols. Academy has them marked down on their weekly ad. And the friggin' gun counter is picked clean!!! Supposedly because of this over hyped Corona virus. Do people think they can shoot the virus if they see it? And I forgot. A limit of 3 boxes of ammo.

The world has truly gone nuts.:fire::(

I went by the Academy here for something else the other night & thought I would pick up a couple of boxes of ammo while I was there. The shelves were picked clean. A couple of days later I made it back by at midday & found a managed to get a 200 round box of 9mm & a 200 round box of .40. It reminds me of the bad old Obama days. I guess I'll go back to stopping & seeing what I can pick up once a week or so.

You would think folks would be spending their money on food and household supplies more than guns. I mean you can't shoot a virus. But I guess those who didn't have a stock of groceries on hand didn't have a gun (or guns) and of course no ammo. So it goes...

I have the LC9s Pro and I bought it for its slim, small size and being a 9mm. It is accurate, and the recoil is to be expected. I get a sore trigger finger if I shoot it several rounds, the trigger safety lever and me have issues. I thought about a Sig 365, but decided the Ruger was all I needed.
