Look we're all getting a bit stir crazy with what's going on. So lets have a little fun. If you could require an anti gun American to watch only one specific movie, which movie would you pick? My pick would be "Schindler's list"! What say you folks?

any of the death wish movies, either with Charles Bronson, or the newest with Bruce Willis.

I wouldn't waste my time. The information is out there - they choose to ignore it. Most anti-gunners are not capable of changing their minds.

Unfortunately for some small percentage that are capable of learning, it usually takes something big like 9/11 or what we're going through now. For those that are not capable, all the evidence just reinforces their belief (e.g. "what happened in Schindler's List wouldn't have happened if those Nazis didn't have guns...").

John Wick! Because it could happen!

The Hunger Games. Because when you delay the production of an antivirus for a deadly disease because the drug industry and governments fight over who will get the patent...When you ignore many, many warnings that you need more beds in hospitals, face masks, respirators, etc because it's not profitable to the capitalists...When you delay the production and distribution of reliable tests for a deadly disease because of government bureaucracy and arguments over who will get the profits...When you close hospitals and clinics in poor and working class neighborhoods across the country cuz they don't make enough of a profit, and this is going on internationally...maybe some thinking is in order. So...

The Wind that Shook the Barley (2013)

Burn! with Marlon Brando (1969)

Oh and the old version of Spartacus where he doesn't want to patch up Rome he wants to get rid of it, root and branch.

There are two great scenes in the movie Zapata! Both involve the new President of Mexico's attempts to get the Zapatista's to disarm. I can't find them on you tube. But watch the flick. The peasants refuse to disarm with very good reason.

Which anti-gun movie do you think the anti-gunners would like to require you to watch?

Anti-gunners would be much more effective if they weren't saying such absolutely stupid things in the press all the time. Only by understanding the oposing side's position can you make good arguments opposing that position... funny thing is, this works both ways!

Equilibrium. A movie about a militaristic, totalitarian government that outlaws emotion after a worldwide catastrophe. Citizens are drugged into submission while the leaders live in artful luxury over a docile and disarmed populace.
