I’ve been waiting on my yearly birthday discount from Midway, and now...... THEY DON’T HAVE ANYTHING LEFT!

Who knows how much longer this stupid buy up will last? I can’t get primers, brass, bullets, dies, ... Nothing. If my birthday had been last month I could have gotten a good supply of everything at a discount, but I kept thinking “they’ll never sell out of everything.”

same here. Might buy a hornady lockout die or something like that

Hopefully they restock for my birthday, but I am Irish and my birthday is only a few weeks away.

I can’t find any Speer 250grn .452 for my Bushmaster. The only ones that work. The only thing I needed and wanted for the quarantine!

They swooped in off the yard arm and boarded before we could yell warning.

Muskets blazing, cutlasses clanging and like that they were gone!
The balls were stripped from the monkeys, the powder kegs gone, the fruit barrels looted!

The watch in the nest? Keel hauled for sleeping! He lived, but I bet he don’t sleep much now.

Does Hornady make a Lock-out die? I know they have the Powder Cop, and RCBS has the Lock-Out die.
That’s correct, it’s the RCBS die that I was thinking about. It has good reviews so instead of a visual check on my powder cop die, i thought about switching to the RCBS.

I have a Lock-Out die on all my 650 pistol tooheads. It's saved me more than once.

Happy Birthday @Mr_Flintstone !

Hornady has both the powder cop and powder lock out die, like RCBS. You need to decide which one you want, but I recommend the lock out die of either:

POWDER SAFEGUARD DIE
Item #044652
The Powder Safeguard Die checks straight-walled pistol cartridge cases from 9mm to 45 caliber for no-charge and double-charge powder drops. It physically halts the reloading stroke so the user can correct the incorrect charge.

If used in conjunction with the Lock-N-Load® Control Panel, the user is alerted of incorrect powder levels on the digital display. The Powder Safeguard Die is also compatible with other reloading presses using 7/8"–14 die threads.”

Bet the monkeys weren't real happy:D

As Lordpaxman pointed out Hornady does make a lockout die.
I have both the RCBS and the Hornady one. The Hornady one connects to the Control panel if you have one.
Close between the two but I like the RCBS one a hair better.
